Gabby isn’t worried one bit about the 400M distance…it’s just training for her! Although, we may wanna consider using Gabby on the 4x400M relay…she’s very fit for that.

This was clicked bait.. Sydney was already a much stronger 400m runner over Gabby for years now. She obviously run 400mH hold WR, and has already been part of 4x400m winning teams on the World stage.. its almost expected for her to win in open 400m, this Not News

I guess you're not very impressed, sounds like. It's (400m flat) a much different strategy to run it. And not having run that in - idk years? - a long time it took an adjustment on her part. I guess that took about one race to adjust, though. That's how good Sydney is. I'm blown away. I'm not sure but Sydney may have decided that the better competition is in the flat race so she went there. Only the best of the best can pull a changeup like that with nary a change in her heartbeat.

I'm not looking to confront you Hova. You gave Sydney a ton of credit which is great.

@@billburgess3651it has nothing to do with being impressed by the performance. Is it not easier for a 400m hurdler to run an excellent 400m than a 200m runner to do double her normal distance??!

My interest in track and field has always peaked during the time, leading up to the Olympic’s. With the sprint events of 400 meters down to 100 meter sprints, hurdles are relays all being very exciting. I found the women in this year’s events as the most exciting & competitive I’ve ever witnessed. Not only did the competition impress me, they all looked great as well. Wearing sportswear and makeup doesn’t hinder performance, but it probably helps increase ratings! It’s a welcome change, women athletes can feel free to dress , in the way that makes them feel the most comfortable!

Is this an issue about track, or someone trying to do colorism? 400 is Sydney's race ...duh! Gabby's strength is in the sprint...200. They are both talented athletes. Hope they don't feed into this mess.

I didn't know Sydney was 5'9". That's tall. Are most track athletes taller than average? Sydney is some kind of a beautiful woman! Lean, long, & lovely. She has a beautiful smile and always makes thoughtful comments it seems to me. Girl is killin' it!

wtf is colorism? Is that something to do with friction between black people and barely black people like Sydney McLaughlin?
