Igl seems to have a negative impact on player performance. In valorant. Zander is probably one of the best controllers. But they dropped Nitro and Zander is IGL now and is a 1.0 rating. Before he was IGL and when they had Nitro through the first act he was a top 3 rated player and the best controller player with a 1.3 rating through the entire first split

Its funny but it seems that to save NA in tier 1 cs you might actually need to do what liquid tried for the entirety of csgo and build a team around elige, man seems to have finally found that other gear in cs2 that liquid was looking for from him for so long, you surround him with top tier talent (its crazy to think about but NAF and Twistzz are actually still looking quite good) you give them a decent caller, support, and coaching and maybe that might do the trick (fuck I basically just said reform 2019 liquid and run it back)

I think we need more new talent not old ones. Don't get me wrong I love the og's, where would we be without them, but the thing that got me into competitive cs was watching s1mple on Hellraisers and growing to the super star he is now, I don't want to watch old players trying to relive their glory days I want new stories and new champions. There is a lot of new talent in NA and if all the spots on top teams are taken up by the same names over and over again these new players wont have a chance to get experience in tier 1. I think its time the ogs step down or help nurture new talent and share their knowledge. Malbsmd just joined G2 he did not come up in a bubble there are others like him just waiting for their shot. EU has so many new names NA has had the same "Tried and Tested" players forever. If your in NA support your local LAN

Saving Liquid and NA CS; regardless of what the comp looks like, is really just gonna take time, trial, and error. It's still insane this "super team" started finding its footing and then imploded, it makes zero sense. And now putting one of your star players to a position were they will inherently frag less looks rough on paper. They just need to believe in the next project and try to stick it out a bit longer past the starting line.

Imma drop some real wisdom on all yall who can’t understand why NA always sucks at competitive Games. Why would the best players play on professional teams when twitch/youtube/other streaming platforms can offer people nearly triple the monetary value and the ability to pick your own hours? If we offered proper incentives for Pro gamers, as well as ways to make it as lucrative as streaming, then we will actually have decent competition to compete with. But as of right now, streaming is much more lucrative.

Nothing from the pro scene can save na cs. The only thing that can save it is by investing into cs at a casual player level. There are so few servers in the USA that the majority of the players have 50+ ping, combined with the horrible netcode/subtick it's impossible to grind/get to pro level and play. Na cs will continue to be dead until steam/faceit do something about it

NA will always struggle and I will tell you why. It is way too expensive to go pro in NA. Cost of living is way up on every other region. They don't have the support systems around the game like northern Europe. And there's an obsession with star power. The fix Grab 1 veteran, 4 rookies, a coach, and go to work. Nothing else is going to do it for you. You need to build the culture from the ground up. It's not a game anymore, it's a sport, it's your job.
