I used this case for my Decepticon themed build, as the triangular mesh elements at the front really help tie in that motif. Thermals don't seem to be a problem with only half the front being mesh. I did go with a mostly-vertical GPU riser bracket, which means the bottom F-LUX fans had to be pulled out. I also ditched the exhaust fan at the back, and put in a status display in its place. My only real issue is the cable management at the back. It is pretty effing crowded, and yes, out of the box, the cabling was pretty messy. This would work well with the Corsair LINK system or other similar 'daisy chain' ecosystems, with less cables to manage. As for the fan/aRGB controller, I only used it for the 3 front fans - everything else is going to a Lian Li controller or straight to the mobo.

I think it's no good posting fps for a case review. Show the temps while gaming, and show it at different fan settings, auto, 100% and noise normalized. This is the golden standard. And what a shame you did not the compare the PSU fans connected to the EVGA card, to the stock config. So much you could have done good!

I check on Amazon for the DF800 case currently it's $115 dollars. For $119 you could get the Corsair iCUE 4000X RGB which includes 3 fans which are in fact PWM fans and it comes with a controller.

7:06 I am actually looking for a case that can support 4HDDs. I have found a few candidates, but I am open to just use 3 HDDs and move the content of a 1TB drive to the 4TB one.

I got the df600 case. It came with the 3 pin fan hub too. I managed to daisy chain it to a secondary hub, wired the front panel fans to the OEM hub, daisy chained that to a thermalright 4 pin hub, connected all my other fans to it, then ran it to my motherboard.

I think it's a great looking case. Am concerned about the thermals as the front is only part mesh. Makes me think the volume intake will be lacking. I wished had just a little more mesh on some of the plastic front panels. I love the it has a cut out to view the PSU, for those who have something like an ASUS THOR 1000w with a wattage display and RGB.

Awesome review, I have used the DF700 Flux and I am not certain the reverse fans on the bottom are actually helping at all. I would like to see more cases going back to putting the power supply at top and make it where you can intake cool air right to the GPU.

Might be a better value at closer to $100. Also, the front panel blocking view of the fans seems an odd design choice.

really likeing that front panel design, guessing the mesh doubles as a dust filter?

All those locations for storage are nice, but my last couple of builds used only NVMe storage on the motherboard. Reduces the number of cables to manage (as there are none for the storage).

Which do you think is better, the DF700 or the DF800?

So I have three Galax fans that are three pin. Sounds like that fan hub would work for me. Do you have to take pins in consideration when choosing a mother board to go with the rgb hub. I kind of like the looks of the Corsair better though.

Can still plug 4 pin fans into 3 pin sockets, just wont have PWM.

I don't believe the case should come partially cable managed when it comes from the manufacturer?

A gpu support support bracket can look cool right? Or you could just put a funko pop under it XD

It almost seems very odd for an ATX case to come with more hidden compromises than expected… …usually the smaller ITX cases come with the most limitations so this was an eye-opener. While your testing game library is already vast; I’d like to see Minecraft (Bedrock (RTX On & Off) & Java (with & without shaders & texture packs)) get tested on a future build someday.

Relaxing and interesting video as always! Thanks It would be interesting to compare the thermal advantages by adopting the same solution on 4000D airflow, hooking 2 120 mm fans with silicone pins or 802 di Be Quiet! which adopts a similar solution. Unfortunately I don't understand why Antec didn't repeat the mesh in a symmetrical way given the extra materials and processes to join everything in the actual DF800 FLUX ULTIMATE.

Why do I see a NZXT Temp on an AORUS CPU AIO???? Anyways confusion aside, it looks GORGEOUS. and I think my Seasonic 1000W is Jelly of the PSU. Edit: Ok so I commented before I saw it, but Still Curious why you couldn't use the Gigabyte AIO??
