Stay strong brother. In 2007 I had a brain tumor removed and woke up paralyzed on my left side and very slow speech. All my rehab was in a stroke ward, because of this. I was only 29 and with God's healing hand I fully recovered and have been cancer free ever since. You and your family are in my prayers. TGBTG!

Hey Robert. Take it easy and do it right. I'm 76 recovering from Lung cancer. Getting better every day. I can kayak again. I've also had several slight strokes. I'm praying for you and yours and for me too. I'm also eating fresh fish, crab, shrimp, oysters, etc. Fortunately I love it all. It looks like some sort of Stone fish or scorpion fish. Obviously lives on bottom, does a lot of hopping, big mouth and sharp, probably poisonous fins on top.

I had the same exact stroke at 23. Paralyzed on my right side and boy the words getting mixed up was frustrating as heck! It took a couple of years but no one can tell unless you knew me before. You got this Rob! You’ll be be better in no time ❤ Sending love and prayers

To you, Rob, and your family, TGBTG in your health and recovery. I too approximately thee weeks ago, took myself to the emergency room thinking I had a bad cold and finding out that it was pneumonia. The doctor there also didn't like my other blood results and had me medical air transported to another facility from Watford City, ND to Billings, MT. There I found out that my leukemia had returned after four years of being in remission. I pray you a speedy recovery and will keep your family in prayer as well.

I agree it does look like this fish. I found some info about it.... The Eastern Red Scorpionfish is found in temperate waters of eastern Australia, ranging from southern Queensland to eastern Victoria. The species has never been found outside the Australian mainland (pers. comm. H. Motomura). The similar-looking Scorpaena cardinalis (previously known as S. cookii) occurs at Lord Howe Island (and New Zealand). Where did Austin launch that boat? This shows how small the world is in 2023. Hi Rob! I’m a new subscriber and like you I had a stroke 3 months ago. Out of the blue. I’ve always been healthy and like to fish, hunt and pay golf. My speech and right side was affected. I’m rebounding quickly. My right side is 80-90% and speech is getting better. Your wife is awesome and with good family, friends and therapy I am expecting nothing less than full recovery.
