I can understand the concern, I can't speak for everyone but if your from the city especially a major one you have to be on guard at lot. There is a certain way you have to move to avoid trouble or protect you/family. I do agree that the biggest concern being a prepper are the people around you. In a SHTF situation it's more likely that the people around you are the ones who may do you harm than some rando on YT. When the formula shortage hit parents were getting really desperate and thankfully I didn't hear anything about folks getting violent. But one can only wonder what will happen when food is no longer on the shelves at stores. In my city folks were robbing people as they came out the store with food and water. Now the trend is to follow people home using those Apple trackers.

Do you think some people were coming from a place of concern for your welfare, but didn't intend to come across as condescending and negative? Okay, probably not, but I do sometimes see online people do that and then they apologize afterwards when they realize how (obnoxious and superior) they sounded. I appreciate your mission to educate. For what it's worth, there are a lot of people reacting from a position of fear and they are not handling it well. I think it leads them to be inconsiderate of other's feelings while spouting their views. It's a shame to drag others down instead of building them up. I think your channel is about to have explosive growth. I also think most people don't comment, but those with complaints surely will, so it skews your view to the negative responses when the majority are probably positive. I hope you stay your course!

I think some people were being genuine, which is why I tried to address it gently. But others were very obviously being rude. It’s ok, I know they are afraid and so I just wanted to try to help them be a little less afraid if I could! It is a very serious time, and I know people are concerned for themselves and the people they care about. I’m glad people were concerned! But hopefully I could ease that a bit ❤️

Thanks for replying. I was overly tired when I commented, so I hope it didn't come across as if I was excusing bad behavior just because it's fear based. On the contrary, I just didn't want you to be discouraged by the wave of mean responses. I only meant that fear spawned by current events is likely why you got hit so hard and fast, nothing to do with your content. They're looking to lash out, but how foolish to strike at someone who is actually trying to help. Providing education like you do is the key to empowerment which of course, allays fear. Most people realize and appreciate that, but the Internet and this platform seem to embolden the bad actors. You sound like you're dealing with it just fine. I hope your channel continues to have fast growth!

Yes you can! If a recipe needs modification for non-einkorn flour, I will note it in the recipe and in the comments

I looked up your floor plan. Like it a lot, very functional. Did you put in a full basement also?

No basement here in Texas (or at least this area) due to solid rock layers about 5 feet down, and the very high flood risk, but I wish we could! We did the full attic though and I loooove it. We've been here about 2 months now and it's amazing!
