I agree and I hear so many people say it from across the political spectrum but how are we going to get it done when Congress is in total control of the process to make that happen. As of now, only 3 Republicans that I know of in the senate even support: Ted Cruz, Ron Johnson, and Rand Paul. Ted Cruz actually introduced a joint resolution to amend the constitution but that was overshadowed by so much other bs that was going on and the same time. And the other 2 are running for a third term despite signing onto a pledge term limiting themselves to 2 terms. I would bring up an Article V convention as an alternative but Congress unconstitutionally put themselves into the process when it was supposed to be completely controlled by the states and Congress even claims that they can set the agenda for a convention. So the only thing I can think of is to push state legislatures to claim their 10th amendment right to limit the terms of their own 2 US Senators and congressional reps. Maybe if enough states do that, Congress will take it as a threat.

In Africa there were people from different tribes right so whenever they had to deal with anything if they wanted a representative from the tribe that one person would represent everybody whether they knew people in the tribe or not. But with white people cuz Africa is different obviously but when you are next generation of that older ancestor that did enslave people you can then set the legacy of the family in a different direction that's why I'm saying you kind of do represent them. I mean look at your last name for example. It has to belong to your father or your mother or somewhere down the line right that means you carry that name as a legacy. Of course you could change your name but I'm just saying that people will still remember you as once that last name. The point I'm making is even if you didn't know your ancestors which I would encourage you to go on find out what they did and what they're like and everything and do some research you do represent them in some way maybe in your looks you may look like your grandfather or some of your beliefs and morals followed through to you. So even if you yourself isn't racist but your previous people were that racism can follow through the family and it can become subtle racism in your case. Better to know about it so you as the next gen or if you have children or even grandchildren they can change that legacy and not be racist like previous generations before
