That Lawyer didn’t make a mistake, he knew exactly what he was doing when he stopped Alex Jones from successfully committing perjury.
@mightymystery92042 жыл бұрын
If he realized he did it, the lawyer could have been complicit, if he withheld means of proof. The lawyer could not say he lied, but he could justifiably provide means for the prosecutor to impeach the lie. It's a fine line. I wish more lawyers had such integrity. It's one thing to change emphasis or get truths excluded, a thing lawyers do by skill, but a lie is an insult to a lawyer's skill, and a risk to his reputation.

To be fair, I understand the reasoning behind patching the wall... If there's a full-on gap there, migrants are more likely to attempt the crossing there, even knowing the river is dangerous to cross. Without the gap, there's no reason to risk crossing at _that_ location. No one seems to be claiming it 100% stops people, but it stands to reason that in this case it nudges the risk/reward ratios enough to dissuade them from crossing in that specific spot, which is more or less what they _are_ claiming is the intent. 🤔

@Bakamoichigei2 жыл бұрын
@@eMPee584 Yeah, but a bridge would cost at minimum 10x more.
