A videogame described as Pokemon with guns has come out of nowhere to be the biggest game on the planet and it's lead to anger, accusations of plagiarism and even death threats, this is the weird and wild story of Palworld.

I love pokèmon and have just started up pal world. I will say that there are some similarities, but realistically, they're two completely games. If I'm honest, I hope Nintendo takes some of the ideas from palworld and puts them into the next pokemon game.

I don't believe they did they just copied the style of Pokemon are you saying the style should not be allowed for anyone else to use alone in the dark is similar to resident evil or silent hill are them games not allowed to exist

But they didn’t just copy the style of Pokemon, they copied the designs of the Pokemon themselves. Like the game itself isn’t a Pokemon ripoff, the characters are. You can make cute characters without making them exact copies of Pokemon with the colours changed

Pokemon has more than a 1000 pokemon. Some are just gonna look similar. Though I do think some designs look a bit more than just inspirations

Ive been playing Palworld for a few days now, and I gotta say I’m hooked… I can see how some people are angry at the developers of Palworld for copying Pokémon designs, but I feel like the game is very original… yes it has the looks of Ark Survival Evolved and Pokémon but I don’t see that as a bad thing, I honestly feel like this game is what I as a child would have wanted to have. Of course, copying model rigs isn’t cool… but sending death threats is even worse! I hope this drama gets settled soon
