I have been using the two shot variant of hellstorm after the update with the napalm mod and the friendly fire perk, i kill multiple enemies and healing other players at the same time during sbq and neurological warfare events and have fun while doing so.

@@kynanbesenyi6345 I'll test properly, hard to tell because the damage numbers for the burning effect don't show up. Much easier to keep the bow fed and repaired though.

I have a quad napalm helstorm on one of my characters, it's hilarious for lighting up huge areas even if the damage isn't as good as I hoped it would be

Interesting about getting caught in the explosion. You shot that rocket on the tank but the explosion didnt hit you, it did hit however the super mutant who was closer to you and the splash damage transfered from him to you. Interesting how it works, i wonder if other people have noticed that.

I use the boomstick regular missle launcher from party packs or whatever when I want to use missles. The dot dmg is wild lately I've seen w cremator. Traditionally hellstorm was always worst

the one thing that bugs me about the Hellstorm launcher, and I bet others are annoyed about it too, is you put the Recon Scope on it's supposed to track targets but fails to track like the Targeting Computer that you can put onto a missile launcher

It doesn't mean the missiles track, it means it puts a ui tracker on them. Like marking enemies in a stealth game.

To the user napalm absolutely hurts like hell with grenadier 2 on but i use a single barrel boom shot and the two shot glitch 4 missiles for the price of 1.

@@billykl2790 I rarely use it unless there's a buncha nobodies taking all the xp during an event you gonna knock me for a 3 year old glitch that Bethesda ain't worried about go belittle those dupers if it's that detrimental to your survival. Cheater is pretty harsh when I do nothing but give give give to the community and rain down hell on any undesirables messing things up for the rest of us this glitch is just the beginning of a vast array of cards I pull I can make servers crash or pull up trap camps that insta kill but yet I don't use them unless said undesirables start their bull crap.

The problem is, a TS/ffr/15r or (potentially, need to test) TS/E/15R standard missile launcher with a quad barrel will most likely still do more over-all damage, with a lower perk card requirement for max damage. It's a cool weapon, but the fact that you can out-perform it with the base weapon is just...dumb.

For the look, i give it a 9/10. Still, besides it has some nice modifications, i'd still prefer the OG Missle Launcher, especialy if it's the Boomstick. That thing does almost 1500 damage (speaking of my build)

yeah its kind of sad how much better the normal missile launcehr is, m ore damage and homing missiles which are most of what makes these kinds of launchers fun. for the hellstorm being way harder to get it should really be a bit better and have a targeting computer

The hellfire doesn't have access to the targeting computer that the regular missile launcher has. The recon scope on the hellfire tracks targets you shot at basically to notify where they are on the compass.

But the 50 vats hit chance legendary effects will do the same as the targeting computer but it's by chance to activate
