My youngest two were born in June...and I can say that they weathered COVID better than their mother and I did; they acted absolutely fine (as did their three elder siblings), but mom and I felt like death warmed over (yes, all seven of us caught it, but the kids didn't have any change in behaviour...she and I still had to drag our corpses around to care for them).

I mean, as a new parent he must of been woken at around 3am by baby crying. Father /offspring bonding moment right there. Also, it was around 3am that I discovered this channel one sleepless night. Definitely. My youngest two were born in June of that year and I was the one tasked with making sure they and their slightly older sister (born February 2019) were okay when they awoke in the middle of the night...I fell asleep with them on my chest several times (sitting in a big comfy chair), knowing that my body wouldn't allow me to roll over (I learned that I could do that years prior when I had a severe knee injury...I'd wake up in the exact same position I fell asleep in, despite being an active sleeper).

25:55 your brain does a special thing with animation like this. Japanese anime fans call this phenomenon "Sakuga". Sakuga are the sequences in an anime that are breathtaking: that first iconic fight of the episode; or the first time you get a close, dramatic, look at a new character. The trick is that your brain carries that level of detail into the following sequences and the rest of the animation. If you've ever seen an out of context shot of an anime that looked like it was drawn by a 5 year old and wondered why it works, sakuga are why.The long shots of stationary characters talking (just a freeze frame with a moving mouth). The fight scenes that are the same two moves over and over again. Sakuga are why people don't pay attention to that. The quality has been set subconsciously. The same is often true of the early episodes of a show compared to later episodes (or fillers). In Tony Hawk when you first watched the first cut scene, and took you control after, you kept seeing those beautiful PS1 cut scene graphics. Now that we're experienced gamers and technology has advanced so far even the cut scenes look low quality. Final fantasy 7 is the best example personally. Back when I first played it every scene was the same quality as the cut scenes. It was easy for my mind to imagine cut scene quality in the combat sprites, and to then carry that to the world sprite. Blocky Cloud was beautiful.

You can really tell that you guys are actually interested and know a fair bit about gaming from this video :) It isn't just a way to get a bunch of views..like a certaion OTHER channel that make a lot of top tens..but rather something you just seem interested in and enjoy talking about :) That really makes for some fun videos to watch because you know more than I do about a lot of these things and that makes it entertaining for me! It isn't just taken off google but rather from your own experiences and interest in the games :) I truely love that.
