There are some early Modern Sonic games that are good like the Adventures but not Big the Cat, unless you like fishing.

Devs in 2006: *Learn about the pop star* I have an idea. Personally I didn't feel like the glitches were a problem unless you intentionally ran into them. That said it didn't feel like a Sonic game, it was missing something. I think it was the characters speed, like somehow Sonic, Shadow and Blaze are fast but everyone else move like snails. The jump attacks too. Didn't feel right.
