Boeing was not at fault for the wheel falling off, United maintenance is. They maintain their aircraft, not Boeing. Boeing is not a dangerous aircraft manufacturer

Whoever did the maintenance is at fault, someone just forgot to tighten the bolts, stuff happens. I'm a auto mechanic and I did the same thing, customer wrecked on the highway and killed someone when their wheel fell off. I didn't end up liable with a little help from good lawyer but that's just what happens man, people make mistakes. It's always gonna happen, you're supposed to double check stuff (sometimes I don't cuz I'm lazy) but the human brain just makes mistakes on its own
