@@justaguy7986SPOILER ALERT: the reason so many vessels died is because they had emotions and that contradicted what the pale king wanted so he threw them into the abyss. also the "hollow knight" was corrupt by the radiance because he wasn't the "pure vessel" in the end and he had emotions (that the pale king probably got him to create by spending time with him in the white palace). making all the vessels but the player vessel one with emotions, although you are probably right about the vessels having no gender

I once googled “hollow knight” the name of the game itself so I could take some inspiration and draw a cool bug warrior, one of the first images that shows up is R34 of Hornet, I then spent like 30 minutes trying to think of something else to draw cause I did not want to know what would show up if I scrolled down more if THAT was one of the first things shown until I decided I was going to draw a bug warrior so I decided to be a little more specific and google “false knight” the 1st or 2nd boss depending on if you find and kill Gruz mother first. Thankfully I got a good image without having to see more art of sexualized bugs

if you ignore the projectiles, and just look at the sprite, they are super adorable

The Primal Aspids are annoying but they arn't THAT bad. Their fire rate is pretty slow, the shot trajectory is predictable and they can't move for a brief moment after they fire. All you have too do too hit them is short hop over the middle projectile after they fire and dash towards them. If they are approaching you from an annoying angle just get a platform between you and them and they will come closer. Personally i find the fat bees in the hive 10X more annoying.

Another thing ireally like abt the fandom is how supportive everyone is of each other. Even here, supporting smaller creators, who promotoe other small creators who promote big creators. I just simply like the characters in the game. And the lore is also great. This game even made me less scared of insects (Not spiders tho. I'm still terrified of them) And the community seems to be quite friendly... I've already found 2 people that are interested in the some things from the game and we like to theorise about characters and etc.

My favorite part about the HK community is that we are respectfully ravenous when it comes to Silksong. So many people either on KZbin comments, reddit threads or KZbin videos are salivating for the next entry for the series, sometimes even begging for just a release date, yet we 1000% respect and understand that making a good game takes time and are willing to wait on Team Cherry to release it when they're ready. I have never been a part of a community so willing to wait for a game without breaking at the seams.

This guy : Tells me to play Hollow Knight Me : Remembers I have money on my eshop account and thinks it availble for switch. Looks. Its available for $15. I go to buy, I need 6 bucks. I use my coins or whatever. $3 short. THREE FREAKIN' BUCKS! darn... Oh well, who cares, I'll watch it anyways. I watched some videos on it a while ago, so I think I have some vague ideas of the plot and stuff, it can't be that much worse than what I already know, besides, a good twist is something you can appreciate even if you see it coming, as it's set up well. Even a game like Undertale, which is really best played mostly blind, can still be appreciated even if you know a few things before hand because its set up so well. I mean, I already knew about EXP, and yet when I met sans at the end of my first playthrough it was even more emotional because I had KNOWN and I'd gotten a neutral route anyway. I had decided that certain things were worth it in order to make my first playthrough easier, and while I already intended to play it a second time I think to get a different ending, I WANTED to, to the point where I spared both bosses past that point. Like I said, a good twist is still good even if you know it before hand, because it's set up well. That being said, it's best to play Undertale without to many spoilers, so that's why I tried to avoid any real spoilers in this comment. Sheesh, I haven't even watched past the 30 second mark and I'm already writing a paragraph essay in the comments. I really have a problem. XD!
