and if the other jockeys tried to go with Jenni , they would be saying the idiot jockey gassed the horse and he or she needs to be sacked Ala Craig Williams, as for James comment he was pissed that no one was willing to sacrifice their runner by putting pressure on her and giving his horse the last shot , Pride of Jenni does things other horses can't do , simply was too good

pride of jenni did nothing special out front, 15.14-11.99-11.54 first 600m and he had a 20 length lead already, that is very embarrassing and its a free 20 length headstart i would look at the rest of the fields sectionals and suspend all their riders, sit and sprints only work if the whole field is doing it

Had he gone with Jenni he would have been seen as absolutely slaughtering his horse... i think a young man with more than the punt on his horse would have felt embarrassed it was a very unusual race and hard to counter when at the cold hard face of it. First time i have seen JMak like that...but big ups and huge respect to Craig Williams...he knew how to handle situation probably due to the amount of undue stress the guy has had lately..💯👍😊

I’ve seen a lot of people having a cry about this, that’s what you get for backing a $1.80 favourite, there was no other horse that would of been a chance on pace. That’s why none of them chased. There best chance of winning that race was hoping Jenni died in the ass and it didn’t. The only time Jenni gets beat is when there are other horses challenging her on pace and the horse that normally challenges her finishes no where, hence why no one wanted to be the one.
@mickfordham66312 ай бұрын
What a load of bollocks. You would never know how close she might have got cause she was given NO hope at odds on. ODDS ON people.
@josephharper58212 ай бұрын
@@mickfordham6631 yep champion, if you took the time to read what I’ve said you would understand what I’m saying. Every single horse in that race would of died in the ass if they had of chased, hence why no one did. If you had of taken some time to realise that before you bet maybe you would still have your money. Only time jenni has been beat in the last 8months is when she has to contest a lead. Was never losing today in that field
@MrRodzilla2 ай бұрын
lol oh boy, you tried to explain why the rest of the pack fell back 20 lengths when the leader wasn't even running that hard the only explanation is that the race was rigged, the only argument against it being rigged is that they wouldn't make it look so obvious that it was rigged

I'm much more familiar with US racing so I apologize but do trainers in Australia not enter pacemakers? What I mean is it's quite common for a trainer to enter a "lesser" horse from his barn if he is worried about no pace in the race. A rabbit to chase so to speak.. or quite similar in concept to a pacemaker in Track and Field events. If he gates to wire then wonderful! If not he's done his job and the horse you rate can get the correct trip...
@josephharper58212 ай бұрын
@@d3eztrickz you have to qualify for most major races in Australia so to answer your question yea I have seen it happen, but it’s not as common. On top of that most owners are not going to want there horse to just be there as a pacemaker and there are heaps of stewards rules surrounding run plans etc.
@edwardferry82472 ай бұрын
Who’s going to risk blowing up million dollar horses? If a horse is planned out to do that, fair play to the winner but you would have to have balls of steel to go with that pace head to head and last 2000m without maybe finishing your horse for the future.

If you have come from behind horses like Cascadian or Via Sistina, they have no say in how the race is run. They simply attach to the back of the train. Maybe the jockeys on the horses directly following Pride Of Jenni for the first few parts of the race could have tried to up the pace or maybe even the next row of two could have taken the lead and tried to bring the train up, but you can’t fault anyone from the second half of the field.

@@BiggISRaeL1Via Sistina is a come from behind horse, as were most of them, even Mr Brightside, despite them not running him that way. I’m not going to bother checking, but the only way ones you could blame are jockeys of true on-pacers who might have given chase. If you look at the finish, POJ was tired and still found a gear at the end - 99% of horses doing that may well have been caught.
