When I visited Hiroshima, it happened to be the anniversary of the atomic bomb by chance. It seemed like the whole city walked to the river. We all made paper boats, and I wrote a personal message of love and peace on mine, then cast it into the river. I was with a great friend who is no longer in my life, so the memory is heartfelt. It was a lovely, synchronistic event that I’ll always cherish.

Hiroshima Peace Tour. Aloha Shizuka. This was a wonderful video of Hiroshima. I visited this area back in 2019 but sadly I didn't have much time to do some of the things that you did. But still it was very moving to spend time at the museum and understand the devastation and effects of war where no one truly wins in a war. Thank you for bringing a bit of Hiroshima to Oahu. Mahalo!

As much as I love Japan, I'm not sure I'll ever visit Hiroshima or Nagasaki. Seeing the pain of war between two countries I dearly love feels too difficult. I live in Hawaii and have never visited Pearl Harbor for the same reason. I wonder if others feel the same way, especially any Japanese who visit Pearl.

Shizuka: I will list somethings, 1: this for me is one of your best videos, with some very interesting history ... 2: seems to be a lot of english advertising (which is good because I don't speak japanese) ... 3: Hiroshima seems to be a very beautifull city, hope to be able to visit it once ... 4: just an idea; learn us in every of your videos just one or two words in japanese, seems like fun ... 5: in war, nobody wins ... so I'm very happy to see a recovered and very beautifull city ... and 6: you keep on going girl !!!!
