I once watched a very salty Shaq tell Chauncey Billups the only reason the 04 Pistons beat the Lakers was due to all the infighting going on in the LA dressing room. " That's not our problem," Chauncey replied. He was right. If the Lakers couldn't get their shit together, that was on them, not the Pistons. So to all the people complaining the Celtics had an easy run....they could only play who was in front of them. And if other teams couldn't stay fit, or weren't good enough, well then its their problem to solve.

They did what they had to do. Ya teams were injured, but so were the Celtics with KP. They lost a total of three games the whole run. You lose 4 games in a series. I remember him having a Pierce wallpaper on his laptop and a Garnett jersey that I still have Secondly, I'm from the celtic region of France. So seeing a team called the Celtics, as a child, helped me lean towards them. There’s another thing people don’t take into account when talking about the injured teams they faced. Out of 101 games including the postseason they had a 20 point lead in 50 of those, meaning they got to rest their starters a lot more than other teams. None of the east teams really got to do that which is why they had so many injuries come playoff time. If you’re the better team you generally have less injuries it’s kinda simple

I think losing Grant Williams in free agency also created an upgrade in the rotations. Hauser got a lot of minutes Williams used to get. Grant was shorter but had the strength to guard bigger players. Hauser held his own on defense, and was an actual threat on offense.

The media should admit the top of the Celtics organization knows what it's doing and give Brad Stevens credit. He brought in a coach that forced his 2 stars to change the way they play and he brought in players who are semi stars to cover the guards whom they always had problems guarding. So Jrue and White did the guarding of the key offensive players. If they had Jrue, the year Curry went off, they would have won that year too.

I called the JH trade. I said the Bucks would not be any better with DL and would probably be worse, while I thought that Boston improved tremendously. The fact that they got KP, it was obvious they were going to do what they did. I think their toughest matchup would have been the Nuggets, but maybe not. Everybody knew, that they were going to the finals, as far finals, it's not Celtics fault that Clippers, Nuggets and OKC couldn't make it to the finals.
