Russia and North Korea want to be bestie. What does this mean for the rest of us? Putin and Kim Jung Un signed a partnership agreement with a defense pact. This requires them to send troops to each other. there are now concerns North Korea will send troops to Ukraine. Especially engineers to rebuild.

Yes and no. A lot of Americans are being fed specific information and the ones that used to have the most accurate stuff and being toyed with. In 2020 the enemy team spent more time identifying who the US trusts and gathers information from/with and compromised every single one in 2022. Almost all information Americans recieve about anything is someone messing with us or feeding our fears with mixed reality. All in all there are very few; I would say 10 people in all of the 330 million Americans who is currently getting accurate information you can trust.

There is another historic precedence: South Korea sent 320,000 SK army and marine corps to Vietnam war as combatant in 1960's. Russia is at war with the largest country in Europe, which was armed and strengthened by Europe and the United States for 8 years for a war with Russia (the authorities of Ukraine, France and Germany admitted that the "Minsk peace agreements" were only to deceive Russia, no one was going to fulfill them). Russia is a laughingstock ... here it is the second army of the world (recall what were the 28 countries that fought the Taliban, with the Taliban who didn’t even have aviation, lost and gave billions of dollars worth of equipment, weapons and technologies to the Taliban terrorist organization). Ukraine is supplied with weapons by countries whose total military budget is 25-30 times larger than the Russian one, and which country would last more than six months? Germany, France, England, or maybe the United States under global sanctions? Russia has resources, when Europe realizes that resources are more expensive than printed pieces of paper, then there will be an independent dialogue with independent Europe, but if Europe wants to burn in a nuclear fire for the ambitions of the United States to surround Russia with "peace-loving defensive alliance" then this is their choice.

China is the real winner here. Just think about it: They’re having a preview of what a 21st century invasion looks like With that understanding also how their own equipment stands up in real combat operations (as many are either also Russian or back engineered Russian/Soviet) They’re learning about the importance of drone warfare and how to use it tactically both at air and sea. They’re buying energy at bargain prices since Russia can’t sell to Europe anymore They’re learning how western equipment works and with that developing upgraded countermeasures Etc etc While maintaining semi friendly relations with the big players All the best to everyone

Yep. China is the storm that will hit tomorrow. Tomorrow is very soon. In my view, WWIII is here, now, and has been for a couple years - it's just engaging the various nations of the world gradually with incrementally escalating measures, and no one has fired nukes (yet?). We really need to stop being influenced by the spectre of Russian nuclear sabre rattling, and fully commit the level of support Ukraine requires to WIN, not just the level of support to endure and not lose. China needs to be shown the collective resolve of nations to not allow this blatant territorial grab to be permitted - that example obviously applies to Taiwan, and anything that improves the odds of not needing to fight that war by convincing China not to start it is to the good. But that aside, Ukraine needs this war over (or at least transitioned to a cold war) so, very importantly, they can de-mine, decontaminate and restore their farmland. The more severe effects of Climate Change are here, now, and are only going to get worse. The world NEEDS every significant area of food-producing land active and growing. The impacts of Climate Change, including famine, are going to be bad enough without wars preventing the usage of major farmland areas.

this is true, but it likely is too late for them to capitalize on it they can learn, but western equipment also is really good at thinking through their potential countermeasures, and western militaries are trained on how to handle those limitations. in particular, american f-35 pilots are still trained in dogfighting despite almost never using it, and they're also trained in how to dodge missiles by hand in case their flares fail. that is something the ccp generally lacks, that training on how to continue to effectively fight even when everything else fails. and in fact, that caused many strategic wins for the us in ww2 against japan, especially in and around the philippines.

Nope, just think about it : They have made NATO rearm. The US realized the importance of artillery and saw just how effective HIMARS is. By supporting Russia, the US's determination to protect Taiwan has been confirmed, putting China in the new "Axis of evil".

North Korea can send more troops and materiel to support Russia than France can to support Ukraine just saying. I suspect most of the North Korean troops will be support troops helping with engineering and logistics though. more than 50% of modern military forces are support personnel and this is a good way to improve Russian logistics and defence engineering whilst also exposing North Korean soldiers to invaluable military experience.
