@@gracielafelix5845 1) you people have to stop saying Diana came out of that family. She did NOT. She married into it, and she left it. 2) Agreed, she had grace and was loved. Also she may not have been treated well by the RF, but whether "she was beer than them" is a matter of opinion, not a fact. 3) Unless you have any proof that the RF actively had any part in her death, you should keep your mouth shut. You can't go around , not even on YT, accusing people, royal or not, of having killed anyone unless you can prove it, and if so, deliver it to the police, and stop airing idiotic opinions on YT or any other social media. Post Script. I liked Diana. She obviously had something the RF did not, and she obviously did not fit in, and her death was a tragedy. but you can't throw out an accusation like that.

She is actually a Princess a Duchess is merely a title it can get rather complicated, the reason Anne isn't given that kind of title (though its the most senior ranking of the Aristocracy) is due to her being the only daughter of the Monarch and that being the Princess Royal.
@jeremysmith545656 жыл бұрын
See with the ranks there's the Barons and the Baronesses (usually the speaker of the commons gets a Baron or Baroness ranking peerage as a life peer in the Lords as long as they aren't willing to be a party peer and rather (like the majority in the Lords a cross benching peer, the hereditary aristocracy from '99 aren't allowed to sit or vote in the Lords or certainly the majority of them aren't, they can only do so by a writ summoning them to the Lords. Then there's the Earl's (like Edward is the youngest of the Monarchs children, though full grown adults now lol) and a Countess (his wife Princess Sophie who like kate and the rest was a commoner the Countess of Wesses like Edward being the Earl of Wessex). Then there's the Dukes and Duchesses, they can be members of the royal family or not you see.

@fintanbeirne72615 жыл бұрын
Sheila Johnson the royal family own land that they essentially rent out (for want of a better term). As an organisation in its own right the family makes a lot of money. It’s also important to consider that all of the royal properties are key British landmarks in the same way that tower bridge, the Lake District and the angle of the north are. There’s a lot of very complicated ways the royal family makes the government money and keeping them afloat is actually a key part of our economy. Furthermore, any attempt to overthrow the monarchy would instigate a constitutional crisis. Our military is sworn to the Queen not the government. Having a monarch gives a real sense of consistency and clarity in an otherwise confusing political climate. I hope this helped. Finn

I am totally sick, as a Uk citizen, of explaining to outsiders , especially from the USA,and jealous lefty Uk residents that these palaces do NOT belong to the queen. She holds two private residences only which she pays for herself, Balmoral and Sandringham. Both owned directly by herself. Every other castle or palace is owned and managed by the government.. the crown estates give 80% of their annual income directly to,the government. The remainder supports the monarch and direct family, not all the hangers on, and supports things like royal weddings etc. The cost of the royal family to the Uk populace per annum is about £1.50 per head. The tourist income is in The millions. Can you Americans say that Mr Trump brings in the same? I thought not.

There are millions of people who have at least 1 home, live comfortably, many people even are rich, and they did not inherit anything, but work their butt off! And if you have all that and give it to your kids and grandkids, what is wrong with that?

It didn't work that way Lady, the state decide who become the next King and who inherit what. They're not some despot or absolute monarch. Everything they do were dictated by the constitution and state. Basically, they belong to the state and their function is to be the biggest tourist trap ever.

I think the MONET painting was from Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, not Queen Elizabeth the First as claimed in the accompanying soundtrack. Claude Monet was not even alive during the reign of Queen Elizabeth the first who was born 1533 and died 1603 , Monet was born in 1840 so there's no way Queen Elizabeth the first would have a Monet!

What do they do with all their money? They never have to spend any! Lol. I was just wondering to myself why the royal ladies carry clutches or purses with them? Like, what could they possibly need to carry with them to engagements? Makeup? Doubtful. Debit card? What for? Just decoration? Who knows! Lol. What it must be like to never have to worry about money.......not just having any, but needing to have it on you for everyday daily life.

My thought exactly. Monet lived and painted in the nineteenth century; Elizabeth I lived mostly in the sixteenth. Now if they had said the house had an original Nicholas Hilliard belonging to Good Queen Bess...

The doll house you spoke about in which you said, Their Royal Highnesses Princesses Beatrix and Eugenie could pay for their own place. Well that, doll house belonged to the present Queen when she was a child.

In this video I believe was when the Monarch was turning 90, when Eugenie kept calling her Granny haha, she's though Monarch first the country always comes first even before family, so she's Monarch first then a family relative second. What she's done is incredible really is! Then said when she sometimes sees her walking into a room she kind of I am not sure of the expression exactly but is kind of gets almost starstruck a bit lol.
@jnicholas-windsoramyisrael466 жыл бұрын
Jeremy Smith Yes 😀. Her Gracious Britannic Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has been a Great role model for a lot of people. Someone that puts duty first and gets on with it. I'm a Monarchist that puts, God first then Queen then Country 😀

Not actually Scottish it's just most of my ancestors came from there that I know of my 2nd name have 4 including my surname or family name, my 1st middle name is Andrew after my Great Grandfather Andrew Bruce who was Scottish so yeah connected or a descendant of Clan Bruce. Was back in say 2008 wondering if it'd be feasible for me to serve in the Royal Corps of the Signals (or just simply the Royal Signals thinking it'd be better suited to me, though can't due to my health, realistically would have a snow ball in a sauna's chance lol, but thinking about perhaps having a career in GCHQ, it's by far still serving the country I'll think, though of course wouldn't be able to tell anyone that lol.
@Tiny-One5 жыл бұрын
Check your facts - the playhouse that Beatrice was shown in was actually presented to the young Princess Elizabeth and was renovated more recently by Beatrice... so you'll find that it technically still belongs to the Queen and bears no relevance to Beatrice's wealth.
