Absolutely love this video! The shot of Michelle and Paul near the end of the journey is priceless. I am on team bus 🚌 that stops at wineries 🍷. Miss you two and guest rider Paul too. Hope to see you soon.

Thanks! Ooh where do we find more buses that stop at winearlies? We are down for that. Miss you too!

I love trains and wish Costa Rica had more.

You are very heroic for taking this train, maybe one day it will be good, but also very crazy - take the bus, or a plane for anyone doing this route. The bus has stops and breaks in various bus stations where there is food and a smoke break and coffee and AC(most do).

We agree if traveling in the summer for sure. The train did have two stops long enough for bathroom, food and smoking. A/C would have been so nice!

We trained today on 2 trains from Bansko to Plovdiv. They had the heat on full blast for 4 hours it was insane. We prefer train to bus but sometimes it sucks.

Sounds like we cant get away from the heat 😂 Glad to hear you made it one piece! Enjoy Plovdiv!

Vacuum Bags! Pls do a video on vacuum bags. You can reduce two suitcases down to one by folding clothes into these and then using the Airbnb's vacuum to instantly reduce them to half the space. It will turn your remaining suitcase into something very, very heavy, but if it's got wheels, you're golden. It only matters on planes how much the suitcase weighs. I just did this so I would have room in the other suitcase to place a high quality oil space heater (the oil doesn't burn but rather heats up to become the safest and best convecting space heater you can buy for only 50 Euros anywhere in the Balkans). Traveling with a family of 4 via minivan, it's easy to take up all the space the minivan has including a rooftop carrier. Vacuum bags can squeeze more clothes into the limited space the van has. :) Shrink-wrapping works. Believe me.

Interesting... We seen this but haven't tried it yet. I suppose they come with a portable vacuum? OMG, weirdly those space heaters are like over $100 in Saranda, Albania. Our friends bought one last winter. Definaty a traveling by car hack 😀

@@TheWanderingHartz Short term rentals mostly have vacuum cleaners :)

gotcha. We actually haven't experienced many vacuums in our rentals. Perhaps it because we stay on the less expensive accommodations 🤷♂️

It was in August, it was one of the cooler days of a heatwave 🤪
