I feel like I stumbled or slipped accidentally to this video. I am so into reselling lately. Doing pretty good on eBay but Amazon sales scared the bejeezus outta me. Thank you for this info-took a lot of the fear out of me. Financial Question: To get a good start on this should there be a small business loan to build up your inventory? I hope you or one of the regular viewers sees this. I'll be binge watching your channel vids, lol.

I was in my local Kohls store yesterday and saw the same Timberland boots and checked them on eBay (I don't sell on Amazon yet - I'm a newbie) but also had a hard time making a good connection. Seems I frequently get different results between the eBay app and my computer. Watched your video this AM and rushed back to Kohls only to find out that HQ management had ended the 50% off clearance sale last night without notice to store employees. Signs in the store yesterday said the sale was good until Aug. 18th. Bummer! Perhaps Kohl's management watched your video and will ship their boots to Amazon, lol. Interesting how folks will pay so much more to Amazon than they would pay on eBay. Thanks for the great video.
@UnstoppableJosh4 ай бұрын
Yes. It looks like they pulled the plug on the sale last night without warning despite the signs saying it was good all week. I’ve NEVER seen them do this before, all the more reason to check the app everyday. I sell on eBay too. The search on eBay is pretty messed up because they shove a lot of other semi related items into the search desperately trying to get anybody to buy anything instead of showing you what you were actually searching for, they started doing that about 6-12 months ago. Also there are weird discrepancies between mobile and computer for no good reason

I went through your videos on your channel because I have several questions: 1) Do you need a EIN (tax number) for retail arbitrage? 2) What is the process for selling on Amazon? Do you have a storefront? Are you doing FBA? 3) How do you package? ***Would you please create a newbie video or video series? Amazon says that a EIN number is required to sell through them unless you’re an individual, so that is confusing. I have been considering reselling, but I am a little lost.
@UnstoppableJosh4 ай бұрын
You don’t need a EIN tax number to sell on amazon. You can be a sole proprietor and use your social security number, which is what I do. I use the fba program where I ship everything to the amazon wear house and they take care of everything from shipping, customer service and returns. When shipping products to amazon most items especially clothes go in a a clear plastic bag with a barcode on them, it’s not terribly complicated, anyone can do it

When you send items in Amazon will create a shipment plan for you based on what part of the country they need those products the most. Typically if I’m sending a shipment of approximately 100 items Amazon will usually break that up into 2 or 3 different shipments so I’ll have about 3 boxes total to ship out

You have to remove all the kohls tags from the clothes and shoes usually with a hair dryer. Everything needs to be in a plastic polybag with a suffocation warning on it before it gets shipped to Amazon

why not use seller amp for Amazon? In seller amp, it got everything, BSR, keepa, etc... in ONE app. The problem with using Amazon app is that it does not give full picture instead it gives you snapshot. Just b/c it has low BSR now, it doesn't mean it had low BSR in the past
@UnstoppableJosh4 ай бұрын
I use an app called Profitl. It’s better than seller amp and cheaper. When I make videos I like to use the Amazon seller app because I know for sure every seller has it and understands what’s on the screen. Most people watching are new or considering starting
@btccoins55144 ай бұрын
@@UnstoppableJosh I just look at Profitl app and the format looks disaster, so much clutter and difficult to read. When I use Seller Amp, it takes me less than 10 second to determine if the item is good or not and I don't think I could do that with Profitl. Seller Amp cost $20 per month but if you do annual thing, it is $16.63 per month. I used scoutify, amazon apps before and if I want to use keepa, I had to open keepa app, I had to go back and forth with Amazon and Keepa. Seller Amp includes keepa and all you got to do is scroll down. Keepa is included in seller amp, so you save money there.
@MarkJamesGolf3 ай бұрын
LOL seller amp is a scam, why pay for it when amazon app is free, 50% of items I scanned w scammer amp didnt even show up for me. Amz an keepa way better
@btccoins55143 ай бұрын
@@MarkJamesGolf The problem with Amazon app is that it only gives you snapshot of BSR, that is the problem. For example, if the item was slow moving item and it recently sold, BSR will drop down. When you use Amazon app and see low BSR, you think it is good buy bur in reality it is not, this is where you will get burn. I have done this many times. If you look at ANY successful Amazon seller, they don't use Amazon app for research purpose. If you can't afford $20 monthly fee, then don't bother doing Amazon b/c you will fail. I have failed Amazon in 2017 and started back up this year, seller amp has been game changer for me
