Shadow collective are honestly pretty bare bones, really feel they need a to be turned into a proper scum and villanry faction, make Jabba with some of his skimmers, give it transport to hold his gamorian guards, give him all the bounty hunters applicable, and if they want to do him right, you give him some wikwai pirates, as his core troops, with one being his commander, unless you go with old man boba, where he is able to a commander for the force

More dice is definitely a must. Sometimes you are rolling up to 20 dice, it’s a pain if you only have one set

Great breakdown! I agree buying at least two starters is a must, I bought 4 (since you can only have 4 Mando's squads) then got individual boxes for the pykes and black suns. I agree I would recommend new players for the shadow collective to focus on pykes. Pykes with Bossk is a solid list.

As a Shadow Collective player, I'll say this. If you're on a budget, just buy the Shadow Collective starter set. It will basically give you all you need for a 800 point army and you basically don't need to buy anything else. That starter set is super solid. Now, if you want to expand a little bit your army, you can get either just Gar Saxon, or Gar Saxon and a box of Super Commandos. With that, you'll have a solid army that can go against any army of Legion. Sure, it won't be the strongest and best for super competitive games, but it will be competitive, and you'll have fun and won't have to buy a lot. One of the reasons I love Shadow Collective besides having Mandalorians on it.

This was a great foundation but it either needs to be expanded or made into another force. Hutts, gamorians, weequays, come on atomic mass… expand this into proper scum and villainy!!!!!

WARNING: This is a long comment! I wasn’t expecting it to be but in my opinion it’s better than doing 8 or 9 separate comments!!! So if you don’t like long comments I would definitely recommend you skipping this one! If you choose to read it then reply crying about how long it is, you only have yourself to blame!!! I did give a warning!!! I wouldn’t really suggest this army to anyone unless they prefer Lord Maul over Darth Maul! Besides Lord Maul, Rook and (maybe) the commander of the Pikes the rest of the good and useful characters can be in other armies! I’m not much of a fan of them mainly because some of them can’t be used in other armies the way I wanted to and I didn’t really find that out until after I bought the starter set! Which is fine….. the models are still very cool and fun to paint! I don’t know about getting more than 2 starter sets though…….. You would definitely end up with a lot of characters that you can only use 1 in game!!! So unless you’re going to sell the rest to a friend or on eBay or give it to me for free 😉 lol!?! The only other thing you could do with them is use them as painting practice. The one thing that would definitely change my opinion about them though would be AMG coming out with more stuff for them sooner rather than later!!! I know there has been around 3 or 4 model sets that have come out in the past 4 to 5 months! But when it comes to stuff I actually want and would ever buy they haven’t came out with anything since the beginning of this year!!! And that kinda sucks! But if I would have to put all the armies in order of best to worst for enjoyment (at least for me and my play style) it would be this……….. 5) Rebels 4) Shadow Collective 3) separatist Alliance 2) Empire 1) Galactic Republic And 1 and 2 is kinda tied!!!
