UPDATE ON THIS CAMPAIGN: The creators have found funding outside KS. From their update: "we've been able to acquire the funds needed to greenlight this project outside of Kickstarter. Since Kickstarter will not allow the funding goal to be altered we've decided to cancel the campaign and have backers migrate their orders over the the ZICA Toys online store, which we're now calling Plan B." So if you want this ship or the 4 astronaut figures which are available for $50, you pre-order it direct from Zica toys' website sometime after this campaigns closes.

I love it! I missed out on it as a kid. I am going to back it and try to pick up some extra figures. Just sucks this is coming out during such a bad economy but it is one of the coolest things I have seen in a very long time and the wife liked it which is half the battle right there. With the NASA Artemis missions taking us back to the moon I think this is a perfect time for Space 1999 stuff. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for the Video!!...🤘Had no idea Zica Toys was working on an Eagle!!🤘 I just purchased the 1976 Mattel Eagle from ebay, it's 90% complete minus some weapons. While checking KZbin for some Mattel Eagle Vids I noticed yours and after watching your Review & Analysis I think i'm down for a modern Eagle to compliment the vintage Eagle. Luckily the Kickstarter became Plan B and received the Greenlight. 🏁💸💸💸🏁

Thanks for this very informative and insightful video! I had first seen this on the Gerry Anderson store, but now I have gone all in on the Kickstarter. It looks wonderful and I am thrilled that they have added the space crew. What a great idea! I seem to recall that about a year or so ago, Big Chief Studios had announced retro style 3.75” figures from Anderson properties, including Space 1999. I am not sure what happened to that release, but that line was canceled. Just a few days ago I now see preorders for those same figures now from Master Replicas. I can imagine folks interested in those figures might want an appropriately sized Eagle! It’s a good time to be a Space 1999 fan. I really hope the Zica Eagle gets funded!

Oooooo! This is far from my generation of entertainment (80’s kid) BUT I’ve recently begun watching this show because I used to see the promotions on the now “classic” sci-fi channel (syfy yuk) and im actually enjoying it. So this is a pleasant surprise.
