watched 10 mintues and had to leave cause im currently at the knife phase. i hate the way i looked and embarrassed myself &i do know it's OKAY. it's in fact my first ever presentation at the work and it was infront of all my seniors and managers, guess i feel bad about their first impression of me (im 24).. i wanna get better and better and what i just did is definitely the start of something -i hope- is great. will complete the video soon. now i'm feeling the feels. im gonna eat my fav food. but ughhhh i hate the knife feeling. duh?

Not a problem for me, but I hope you do a video on an effective hook. I spend a lot of time talking my students through this...it's so crucial!

Also wanted to say that I once, notoriously, put together a teaching demo during a layover at Detroit...because I'd had very little notice of the on-campus interview! I was shocked that I got the job. But then, I was a non-traditional grad student who'd had a *lot* of presentation experience before starting grad school...in the pre-Powerpoint days where I had to actually learn to be engaging w/o slides!

I just had the worst presentation of my life 🙃 I forgot everything i had prepared, and my laptop even malfunctioned. I literally felt like dying right there and then. I practically said the wrong things and embarrassed myself and couldn't even answer questions presented to me
