I had mine done about 3 weeks ago, and guys if you do not need to get this procedure done I wouldn’t recommend it. it’s effin painful a.f. My frenulum tore which is why I had to do it. I had a kidney transplant and even that wasn’t as painful as this. I will say sleep naked for the recovery period or very loose boxers. If you wear something tight, it will hurt like a mf when you wake up erected and the head is pressed up against the underwear. Also, I went on Amazon and ordered these post circumcision underwear, it has a protection cup thats hollow. It allows you to walk, sit and lay down without damaging yourself. Also, do not skimp out on the antiseptic ointment, besides the obvious of it preventing infection, it keeps it lubricated, I ended up tearing a stitch or two by accident (super painful) and I skipped the ointment one day and the blood dried… when I got an erection I felt it pull and tear cause of the dryness 😵‍💫 there are time when I saw literal stars from the pain. I will admit, it looks pretty good w/o the foreskin, my gf called it her frankenweenie lol Anyways, god bless if you get it done and good luck!

I have noticed that painkiller pills reduced the sensitivity slightly tho, so maybe try that. But if u have any specific issues that u cant find online, ask ChatGPT, trust me, it always helps so much.

No. It's not normal at all. It might very well be typical after having been unforeskinned. But, it is not normal for a penis to itch so much that a man cannot sleep properly. Even men who were unforeskinned as a baby think it is normal for the deep scar where the clamp crushed their penis skin during the surgery and the inner foreskin leftovers to itch. It's common for the itch to last a lifetime. Doctors will tell you that it goes away after about 6 weeks. Not because it stops itching but because the doctor stops hearing about it. This is mostly because the doctor discharges you and never sees you again and no man is going to take a day off of work and pay a copay to tell a doctor that the scar tissue from having his penis skin amputated still itches. Therefore doctors tell patients it goes away when it does not.

Depends really, if you are uncut or cut you should say that first. If you are uncut and the glands(or head) itches a lot, you should get it checked out. mine is Itchy too rn and I had surgery a week ago, it can disrupt my sleep, but itching is part of the healing process, you can calm it down by washing your nether regions lightly with warm water to calm it down and pat it down with clean towel (clean paper towel) or even cotton. But if it's super itchy and has rashes and stuff go get it checked out at the doctor, do you take any meds and do you itch a lot?

So the biggest misconception is that why are people circumcised it is because some teenage boys suffer from a condition called phimosis where the cant retract there foreskin back which affects there sex life and increases chances of penile infection, this is also a religious practice for muslims and jewish and are also practiced in tribes of kenya uganda and south africa. Removing parts of an infant female's genitals for religious reasons is called female genital mutilation (even just the clitoral foreskin called the hood). But, you can slice off as much of the male penis as you want for "religious reasons" and everyone just smiles and thinks it's fine. STOP MUTILATIATING MALES! If he grows up and thinks the God character from the bible wants his penis mutilated, he can have it done himself - there is no reason to mutilate his penis prior to him becoming an adult.

After 2 days of my circumcision, the doctor told us to bath after 2 or 3 days and not scrub the incision site. After it, my question is do you just make the penis open to the air for natural healing? Cuz im really confused. Some say cover it with a gauze or bandage and some say to naturally open the circumcised penis to the air. And when will the sensitivity of the glans last?
