Had a fight with a guy 26/28stone and these techniques work. Deflection of punches to the head ensued. Watch your feet and stay upright or you will suffer. Choke hold whilst on the ground then resulted. Back off from punches and kicks directly as they don’t work. If you can get behind them or get them on the ground you may survive.

Yes Paul vuniak is one of the more practical traditional artists. I train his RAT system every now and then when I'm not boxing or practicing muay thai. He is right in a scenario like that you have to get up off the ground my BJJ will not work, if the guy that suckered punch you is bigger wrestling will also be difficult. You need to fight dirty in streets when it is unknown how much or how many people will try to hurt you.

You had plenty of time & space to throw a Right snap kick when he blitzed towards you. Your legs are longer than his arms. Right snap kick would have dropped him
