Thank you for your videos. I have found them so helpful, especially this one. I had an offer withdrawn today. They called this morning and offered the job and I said yes and asked about if extra vacation was possible. They said they would check and call me back later in the morning. I did not hear anything until 4:30 in the afternoon. They told me they were withdrawing to offer and giving it to another candidate who would take a lessor salary. I could not believe it. I was devastated but realize that I probably dodged a bullet.

Thanks for posting this video! Great advice! I have a second interview for a company I used to work as a contractor for about 11 years ago. I was let go from that contract with no warning and never given a reason. So I don't know if it was for performance or something else. Anyways, I applied at that company for a position in a different department. I asked HR if there was an issue that I contracted and was let go before. The HR person said no and that there is no record of me working there because I was a contractor. She said that there wouldn't be any record of me because I wasn't a permanent employee. But I wonder if being let go is a bad look. I got called for a second interview and was wondering if this would be an issue moving forward with this company and if they may rescind an offer based on my past experience with them. Any info or advice you can give me would be appreciated!

Last week I received an offer letter link to review and immediately got call from HR to have discussion on the same. Released offer was different than what we had discussed before interview. After that HR said this is what we can offer else will drop your candidature & disconnected the call. 😮 I was shocked. Next morning i called HR and said I'm ok with the offer letter. She said yesterday you didn't accepted so need to check what to do next. Now she is saying offer has been withdrawn since you didn't responded by accepting the offer through the link sent. But that offer link was valid only for 24hrs. How is this possible that everything depends on the link. This is the first time I've faced this issue in my entire professional career. Never expected like this from HR. What to do? Any suggestions?

I just want to ask in reference to one of my friends situation.. he joined and organisation and worked just for 50 days which is less than 2 months.. and then he got some good role in other company and he absconded by submitting all the assets of the company.. now does BGV can find out this incident as he has not disclosed this to the organisation he is joining.. as he just can’t afford to lose out on the offer received… he thinks 2 months gap is fine he would be able to justify somehow but is there any way to hide this

First mistake is being difficult with the hiring HR Manager, next don't demand things when it comes to your position with your potential employer when they're being flexible! Hi Sonal , Gone through this video . The same things happen to me I.e a job offer withdrawn. I have been interviewed 2-3 rounds of video conferencing with the manager and HR. And as per HR , I was excellent at the interview. So I was scheduled for next round of video conferencing with senior HR director but it never happened. And in reply I got a mail that due to unavoidable circumstances , the interview got canceled & after that I never heard from them

Hi! Saw your video because I’m very upset on what happened with my application. I have a job offer with the company with HR signatory and signed it already. Right after my Job offer, endorsed me through their onboarding team, scheduled my Medical Exam and enrolled me in their system. I resigned with my current employer after the Job Offer assuming that I already got the Job. And then next day they called me that there’s miscommunication and there’s an error with my hiring process and right now they are still looking for any vacancy for me. This is very frustrating.

Question for you.A colleague signed a Contract of agreement to sign a one day a week Clinical Job.The vacancy was dependant on the previous employee leaving.This did not happen and the company did not inform me until 6 months after i waited and made the inquiry for an update.'Sorry we cant accomodate you' was the reply ! I politely asked for a sign-on bonus of 3000 dollars, I told them how frugal, committed and how I’m a fast learner and I will be saving the company a lot of money in the future and I’m planning to stay with them for a long time, the manager said she will get back to me the same day and she just ghosted me. Hi, This has just happened to me this week. (UK) . All interviews done, notice handed in at former workplace, then one week before start date they email to say they have withdrawn the offer due to the reference given by my former workplace. I have had a period of ill health last year that resulted in several hospital stays. condition is well-managed now however. The email stated that it was because of the attendance issues that the offer was withdrawn. Now I have to scramble to find another job- school setting.

I'm working in ME country. I had a job offer in 2021 Jan with double the salary. but my manager offer a promotion and a chance to WFH from my country so that I can stay with my family. he further remind me an agreement that I have signed at the time of join which says I cannot work for another company which is illegal as per the country's labor law. so I reject the job offer and wet back to my country. looking back what happened I think its a trade-off between family and career.

This happened to me just yesterday, and I'm very shocked. I'm still thinking about how to respond tomorrow. I went through 4 interviews, and more than 700 people applied for this same role. I was made a verbal offer, and we were already moving towards a contract, then there was a paused in communication. Suddenly, I received an email that said, "After careful consideration, we have decided to move the position in a different direction, and we shall not be moving forward with your application. I'm still shocked because this was my dream job. I don't know how to respond to the email. Please hlep!!

Hi Sonal.. This has happenend to me. After 2 rounds of virtual interview, they called me for another round of interview in person. The interview went well. And after a week i was told that I am selected for the position and i will be getting the call letter shortly. I waited for a week and then contacted the HR.. I was told that they have selected another candidate who has more experience in the field. They could have atleast informed me about this earlier. And, now after 6 months the same HR has contacted me and asked if i am still interested in the position. He said they are taking another person for the same post. Hi Mam, I like your videos. I want to share my problem with you regarding my job. I got job offer from one of the pharmaceutical companies in Saudi. They gave me an offer letter. I signed it and sent them back. Then they asked me to resign from my current job confirming not to have any history regarding any disease like TB, HIV, VDRL. I resigned from my current job. Hello Ajinkya This is a very delicate situation, all you can do is to follow up with Acquisition team HRs who made you the offer. Probably you shouldn't have resigned before you get the final offer or revised offer. All the best buddy
