Think you might be gluten sensitive? Take the quiz:
www.glutenfreesociety.org/glu...
When we eat food from restaurants or go to gatherings, there is a risk of getting sick from gluten. If you accidentally eat gluten and start feeling sick, there are some things you can do to help your body get rid of it faster.
The first step is to stop eating gluten immediately. Then, you should drink a lot of water to stay hydrated. Taking a vitamin C flush can also help. There are also some supplements you can take, like zeolite and charcoal, that can bind to the gluten and prevent it from causing damage.
Finally, taking a gluten degrading enzyme can help break down the gluten in your stomach. These steps can help you feel better faster if you accidentally eat gluten.

How do you do that Niacin flush ?
@Heracleetus
@Heracleetus Ай бұрын
@@stellai9733 take a decent sized dose of Niacin in it's *nicotinic acid* form (niacinamide doesn't help and is liver toxic). The amount needed to flush is different for everyone. Might want to start at 100-250mg and incrementally work your way up. Most people respond well but some people have problems at doses exceeding several grams. It's incredibly safe but the flush can be intense and might be scary for anxious types. You turn lobster-red, and you may get itchy or pins and needles, especially in places of previous trauma. It usually starts within 10 minutes and may last up to an hour.

@@stellai9733 unfortunately the detailed instructions I posted got censored. I think Dr O has a video on it. Do you research. There are several forms and only the " flush" form works.

I have a family history of food allergies but I have never been allergic to anything but lately after I got back from Singapore I was sick for a month but got better. My problem now is if I eat bread my throat swells up and I get headaches. Is this a gluten intolerance or something else

I have DH (dermatitis herpetiformis) so I endure 90 days of HELL with itching and painful red sores all over my body. What will this do for me? Since gluten only sits around for 2-3 days… it Seems once my immune system is activated… it’s on a rampage for three months!!!!! How can I mitigate such a thing?

Is there a test to actually see if gluten is affecting my system? I myself can't tell if it's even affecting me other than the fact that everybody online continues to tout the poison of gluten. It's definitely not affecting my bowels. I eat clean, a lot of vegetables some fruit and I am well hydrated so I've never had the problem of being constipated. Daily excavation at a minimum.

I personally had a DNA test that showed no problem with it. I left it out of my diet and I noticed no discernable benefit . Is this thing over exaggerated? Perhaps it doesn't affect everyone the same way .

@jazzycattruthkitten4101 thank you so much for responding! See that's exactly what I'm thinking! Plus we never heard about gluten before period. I always tell everybody just don't be full of s*** literally. Never would have assumed that bowel movement was a thing either as it had always been normal occurrence

@@MelissaFortune Is it our DNA protecting us to some degree at least ? Also for those who are reactive to gluten ,is it really the toxins in the flour that are the problem. I’m thinking glyphosate and the like ,are these functional medicine doctors barking up the wrong tree ?

Its different for everyone. Im personally intolerant. It didnt come up on a blood test for me, probably because it was already out of my system by the time i did it, but i definitely have intense symptoms when i consume gluten and i stay away from it. Also, just because you feel mine mentally, emotionally, and stomach comfort wise, also doesnt mean you're fine with it. If you have any kind of mental health disorders, or skin rashes, or really any symptoms to say your health is not good, it could be a gluten or dairy problem. Like if you have psoriasis, or achy joints, or your periods are a bit intense in any way... theres a million signs that your body is trying to tell you not to consume something. And just because you're fine with it, doesnt mean its a load of crap because everyone is different.

@@iriskoomi2857 thnx. Yeah that makes sense. Everybody's body is absolutely different this is so true. Like I actually have friends that can't eat certain vegetables so for me I can't even understand it started trying to tell her workarounds like you're supposed to be able to eat vegetables all vegetables at which point she had to call me down like yo I've never been able to eat this vegetable it just does not agree with my system. So yeah again you are right everybody system is different.

Seriously ,the human body is a crap design if we can't tolerate a little gluten . That being said ,the latest DNA test I had for gluten tolerance suggests I have no particular problem with it. I once left gluten out of my diet for months and noticed not one bit of difference to my health ,what's that about ?
@steevo8754

That’s great that you can consume gluten. Enjoy. If I have, even a small amount of gluten I feel sick for days. Obviously, we’re not all created the same..just like I can tolerate a bee sting and it won’t affect except for that temporary burning sensation.. but if my cousin get stung we must find his epi-pen immediately or he goes in to anaphylactic shock. And I strongly disagree that the human body is “crap design”. Take an anatomy class- you’ll be amazed. The human body is beyond incredible
