It also goes without saying, that there are a lot of other factors that go into match. Mindset, setting up attacks a few exchanges in advance, forcing penalties. I know there are a lot of skilled grapplers in here, if you have great ideas, please share them!!!!

While you are correct, be thankful that his low view count means individual attention when you have a question. Hes producing really quality material And is highly interactive, , the subscribers will come

This is why I come out fighting on my weak side first. I train both left and right all the time. I don't have the same throws for both sides either but I am very good setting up the throws that I do have for both sides. Best advice is to stay loose so you wont telegraph your attacks either.

Obrigado mestre!!

I've never been in a Judo match but ive wrestled for a few years. As I come to learn new things my approach is to practice a particular move or a setup that I really like and to perfect that thing. Like in video games people have pocket characters I should always have a pocket move that I've practiced 8000000000 times. So in the midst of me practicing the thing I'm not good at I always have options. Just like with women, in competition and in life I want to develop the most amount of options to operate as efficiently as possible.

Great video. Do you have a video a out getting over the pre match gitters. Been competing for couple years and closer it gets to go time my minds like what the hell are you doing. We roll at gym no worries but in the tournament feels so diffrent.

can you do tutorials on those bailout attacks ?
@Shigashi845 жыл бұрын
Will do.
@ghostlog34035 жыл бұрын
I like your appoach. Only if you know an opponent from previous matches you might have a set strategy against this certain one. But if it is an unknown one you first have to estimate their patterns. By taking the initiative and forcing your controll over them they have to evade your every move an react. This gives time for you to evaluate a strategy and give the rest to musclememory and your own strong points. Greetings from Germany.

My issue is being a big guy, not as young as I'd like to be, facing fast, young guys. I'm happy to grind them down, but gotta withstand their quick, sharp attacking first!

Are there any drills you would recommend for adding variety into your instinctual bailouts?
@Shigashi845 жыл бұрын
Yes. Sometimes, (we should do this more), we would do a grip fighting drill. When someone wins position, the losing person has to go for a 30% bailout attack.
