NIT Kurukshetra MnC is a better branch, institute combination. BITS is a better campus, but we are not sure what branch you will get as dual and in addition it is a 5 year course.

Depends on student's interest. MSc Maths is tough, but if the student is confident he can manage. BITS is a very good Institute and Pilani is the best campus. However, IIIT Lucknow is also not a bad institute and has decent placements. If the student is not confident of doing well in Maths this can be considered. But this is definitely a second option.

Advice from a BITSIAN- "MSc Maths is tough. But in my opinion, maths is well taught in BITS. So it would be a good skill to pick up and the only second degree that compliments most first degrees. That being said, maths + ECE/EEE/ENI are not easy to handle together. It will take a lot of time commitment. Both these branches are known to be very strict with coursework and GPA. So it would not be easy to score high. If you go to classes regularly, you know what is expected and it becomes easier to break the scoring barrier. If dual degree is the only option, I would still recommend Maths because of its utility across disciplines."
