Ich liebe meine Heimat. Ich fahre am 15 August wieder hin. Meine Tante war die Künstlerin Elzbieta Szczodrowska und mein Onkel Robert Peplinski haben das Denkmal Solidarnosc erstellt. Ich habe damals den Kampf um Solidarnosc und die Situation an der Lenin Werft hautnah erlebt. Heute ist es wunderbar und so eine tolle alte pulsierende Stadt. Diese Stadt hat Kultur, die Ostsee, tolle Einkaufsstadt so viele Eindrücke. Ich liebe diese Stadt und die dort lebenden tollen Menschen. ❤

I know amazing Gdansk quite well and this is some good advice. Just one note...the torture stuff is at the Upland gate, not Green gate. Sad but Kafebe is now closed down. A popular alternative exc is Malbork, one of the biggest castles in the world (20-30 mins by train).

Great video, very informative. Shocked that u only have 24 subs :o that will rise in no time for sure! Keep up the good work! Felt like i watched a very professional travel video. Just wish it was longer, felt very rushed. Maybe split in 3 episodes of day 1/2/3 and feed us more =) Pretty sure KZbin love longer videoes also

Thanks for your feedback - much appreciated!!! We were there at the end of February. It got cold during the evenings but we were lucky with the weather during the day. I see that based on the average weather forecast October should be warmer than February - fingers crossed. I hope you have a great trip and do let us know what you think :)

Hi Claire! Yes, this is when we went and filmed this video actually, last Feb! The only thing that was closed was going up to the top of the tower at St. Mary's, but I think we were just unlucky on that one as it said it was open.

Gdańsk is an indigenous Polish city. It is pronounced and spelled Gdańsk. The Germans were only hospitable here as an undesirable element.
