Thanks for sharing! We totally agree - Gdańsk is a very nice city to visit 😍The view from above was also breathtaking and added another perspective of this medieval-looking city 👀

Really good videos Jay , been watching you on and off for a year! Bring me back really good memories of lovely Poland! a question for Karolina please, always wonder if she prefers pierogi or dim sum ( chinese dumblings like Prawns dumblings more?) and Jay, really thumbs up for trying so much cuisine especially in HK! hope you guys having a wonderful time in Asia- definitely you won't miss the weather in UK or Poland! BTW such a lovely couple:)

Thank you so much Nicholas 😍 We always try to make sure that we would show the essence of the country we’re in! We’re really loving Asia! We feel like our content has more “soul” and also we really like interacting with people which is not always the case in the Western countries haha Oughhh! I love Pierogi when I’m home but I also love Dim Sum when in China, so it’s really hard to choose one or another haha. I think I’m just happy to have both from time to time 😂

Gdańsk was completely destroyed during WW2, but was rebuilt after the war. All tenement houses were built from scratch and have a completely different plan and layout. It was similar with Wroclaw and Poznań. Destroyed Elbląg and Olsztyn, as well as many smaller towns, were rebuilt in a rather free form. And then there's Warsaw, where a small part of the old town and the castle were rebuilt.
@JayandKarolina7 ай бұрын
Yes, we pointed it out in this and our Warsaw episodes since it makes a huge difference! We're glad to show people around the medieval-style of architecture (that was obviously re-constructed) and some official brick buildings because it actually shows how the city could have looked like in the past!

Cześć wam, zwiedzajcie i nam pokazujcie fajne miejsca. Kłódki na moście to nie jest ani polski wynalazek, ani coś dla Polski charakterystycznego. Musicie zobaczyć mosty w Korei! Ale nawiasem to moda ogólnoświatowa, może ktoś wie skąd przybyła?

@@JayandKarolina maybe it’s a setting? It’s almost like a fish lense where the sides of the screen get distorted. If you watch the first minute or so you should be able to see what I mean.
@JayandKarolina7 ай бұрын
@@Chris-yk9gs hey Chris - Karolina responded in the previous comment. We use the wide angle lens on the GoPro to capture more of the scene around us. The is always lens distortion with wide angle lenses so it's a bit of a trade off. Most of the vloggers use wide angle but we are testing out a new camera for our UK series. It has a wide angle lens but maybe it will be better 👍

We've been thinking of going there because it's a historic as well as architectural masterpiece indeed but not in each video we want to showcase the museums 😉 Since there's a big proportion of people that would find it boring, we sometimes decide not to record such places.
