What to do in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in addition to the obvious? In this vlog, we show some of the most beautiful places in Kuala Lumpur that many tourists don't visit, like Istana Negara, Perdana Botanical Garden, the National Monument, and Masjid Negara.

Malaysia is such a nice place.. I've said this before.. the Malay people are generally very kind, polite and well-mannered! KL is super Modern and the Islands have the best beaches in the World (Langkawi, Perhentian)

KL is an amazing city. We spent about 3 hours in Perdana Botanical Gardens and also went to the Bird Park. Seeing Istana Negara is a very short stay of 15 minutes to take pictures of the palace. I've been to the place with the fountain is but I don't know the name. Yes I visited the National Mosque since I'm a muslim from England and it is nice. However, Jamek Mosque with the River Of Life was a must-see place at night - truly amazing. We were in KL for 3 days and explored many places - truly one of my favourite cities in the world

I went to a few places in Malaysia such as KL, Putrajaya, Penang, Malacca, Langkawi, Perhentian Islands, Redang Island - all amazing places. I did combine one of my Malaysia trips with Singapore (a 3 day stay). I've done most of SE Asia such as Thailand and Indonesia too as well as Malaysia and Singapore

Hi Renata, I'm a fan of your vlogs and I am a Malaysian living in Kuala Lumpur. For Malaysians, we are used to the higher priced drinks in a bar/discotheque/club. Thanks for this great video of my home city Kuala Lumpur. I just wanted to add an insteresting bit of information on the giant war monument in your video. It was done by Felix de Weldon, an Austrian born American sculptor who also did the famous US marine corp "iwo jima" monument. The monument was also damaged in a bomb attack by communist guerillas in 1975 and fully restored after as you can see.

Another great video. Somehow you seem to bring out the splendor of places you visit. I would like to see Putrajaya through your lenses. It is the administrativr "capital", and a futuristic city, built with extreme plannng. During my first visit some 20 years ago, I was simply awed by it's beauty that I parked my car by the side of the road and started enjoying the view around, appreciating the effort put in by the planners. I also saw some guys jogging along the special paths for joggers, which made me very envious, as I too am an avid jogger but I had no sports gear with me then.

Putrajaya is worth visiting - we went for 3 or 4 hours on our way to the airport before heading to Singapore. The architectures are amazing with the bridges, the mosques (Putra and Steel), the presidential houses
