Hou Feng bikeway is always fun. Tons of bike rental options, reasonable prices, and lots of shops and cafes along a stunning path going, across a scenic bridge, through an old logging rail tunnel converted to bike path, past rice fields, and art installations. That's always a winner, at least on a good weather day.

In fact, Taichung does not have many art museums or galleries. It was once called cultural desert. Fortunately it has improved a bit in recent years but still can't compare with Taipei or Tainan.

Hi! It depends on you how fast/slow you want to be when visiting sights. If you can spend more than one day in the city, then it will be amazing! The bus numbers I’m not too sure unfortunately but I’ve used google maps and it said what options there are. To get from the station to the city I asked the staff in the station for my best option. Have fun!

There is also 6-8 hours of sleep in a 24H day … with the rest being g sightseeing. I think I covered quite a lot in my 24H day 😉, just imagine me sleeping afterwards
