Thank you posting this video. I was stationed for eight years at NAS Whidbey Island 1988-1995. and was even a reserve police officer for Coupeville. I have not been back to the Island in over 20 years and watching your video brought back so many great Memorys Thank you.

As a kid who grew up on Whidbey, if you guys plan to visit again make sure to go to the Greenbank Farm, about 35 minutes south of Coupeville and 20 minutes north of Freeland, Toby's Bar and Prairie Perks Coffee in Coupeville, Ebey Landing and the Coupeville cemetery there(it has some very interesting history about the island), 3 Sisters Market between Coupeville and Oak Harbor, Joseph Whidbey Stare park about 10 minutes west of Oak Harbor, and Chris's Bakery in Oak Harbor. You could also head up to Fidalgo Island across Deception Pass and climb Mt Erie, the view is definitely worth the climb, you can see the entire west side of Washington on a clear day. Hope you enjoyed the place I call home!

The Mukilteo ferry was just moved and rebuilt so it looks much nicer now. Coupeville is a great place to shop for souvenirs and so is the Langley farmers market! I'm glad you enjoy the island 💕💕
