Great adjustment possibilities before needing to find more action elsewhere. Like they say, "you don't want to leave fish to find fish!" Another useful approach to a common problem, and some helpful suggestions in improving your daily decision making out on the water. Thanks!

Excellent tips. I was working an area yesterday with moving baits. I knew there were fish there, so I spun around and slowed way down to a bottom bait and caught 5.

Were in a bad drought and my local lake is at an all time low. Its like a desert lake. All the creeks and streams that fed into it are dried up, there is literally zero plant life anywhere, however there is some spots heavy with dead trees. Ive gone out almost everyday for a week and have caught one bass. Pretty frustrating. Ive thrown almost everything i have. Im probably pretty green compared to alot of guys when it comes to lake fishing, but when theres no obvious cover where would you look for bass? Waters 79 degrees and average depths are about 60 ft.

A question about Live Scope. Do these tips change if you're using Live Scope? I don't use it but many are using it these days I would think these tips would help them even more with switching lures up and "On vs Off" the grass lines...especially FL and AL fishing.
@BassFishingHQ3 жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t say that the tips would change, however livescope will help you to make adjustments sooner. You can tell the fish’s mood towards a lure faster and see if they are “off” the cover

I followed a 8lbs bass for an hr yesterday on Lady Bird lake in Austin then for 45 mins flipping at it after I found its hole. I threw 5 kinds of worms and he snubbed the first 4. Turns out they moved under the over hung banks when they usually hold up in holes between Grass in this spot. Following the beast showed me where the holes are because I notice the largest fish move more relaxed at times other fish will hide. I also caught on to if there are bait trying to jump on the bank or hiding near the bank then there is a predator near by even if you can’t see them.

Recently I suspected being ghosted due to recent lake lowering.
@BassFishingHQ3 жыл бұрын
Sometimes that can happen. Sometimes when the lake is lower it can really put a lot of fish in small areas though. So if you find that area, you might be able to catch a lot of bass
