My sternum is very painful/sensitive after a double mastectomy, any suggestions?

Hi Susan, this is a very common side effect. Massage can be beneficial if the problem is soft tissue tension attaching to the sternum. Hi Jen can you discuss hands after breast cancer and lymph node removal. My hand on the side where I lost both is killing me. My arm is fabulous no lymphoedema but trigger finger and a hand that is like a claw in the morning is driving me nuts. Have you seen this before

Hi Kim, I would go to your Doctor and request referral for nerve conduction studies and / or referral to a Neurologist. This needs diagnosis and may be secondary to your breast cancer but possibly not directly related. Are you on Hormone Blocking Medication? Jen x

Do you use cold laser treatment for fibrosis?

Hi, I don't use laser in my clinic as I try to focus on treatment techniques the patient can replicate at home. I do have colleagues that use laser but personally I haven't seen any outstanding results from laser as yet. Jen
