I agree with you 100%. Sometimes you can encounter people that may have not learned how to deal with their animosity towards another person. Next thing you know, they are spending their entire life reminding you that they don't like you over and over and over again. That's what I'm experiencing now. But, on the flip side, that's how I handle people that don't like me. I keep it moving.

The older I get, the more I realize that the ppl “who don’t like me” usually don’t even know me and judge me by my appearance and are jealous of something about me. They aren’t my cup of tea anyway & are ultimately doing me a favor by staying away.

Tyler, I am SO grateful to you for this advice. I will remember it for the rest of my life. I wasted time and energy trying to convince those who didn't like me to change their minds, because, growing up as an adoptee in the 70's + 80's, I was made to feel less than by PLENTY of narrow-minded + intolerant people in my neighbourhood, in high school, + in the workplace. Thank God that I have, today, at 53, people who accept me as I am, + are good to me! I learned the hard way that once someone decides to dislike you, there's 0 you can do about it. I made the mistakes, and it gave me aggravation and sadness. No more!

Just saw someone in the store I use to go to sometime . He used to talk and say nice things. Now he gets some kind of disagreeable look on his face or sit where I can't see him. I don't care tho cause he Tryed to talk to me I didn't go for it because he has a baby a girlfriend or wife. Someone has again made me look bad to another person. This is the best answer for what I should do in all these situations, I work in the corporate environment and see many people a day. From one day to the next, for whatever reason, sometimes people change their attitudes towards me, I remain courteous and respectful to everyone that I encounter, but as you said, not everyone is going to like me. Someone wise once told me NOT to try and fix unimportant relationships in any way. If someone wants to be in a bad mood or whatever the case it may be, simply let them. I used to try and fix the situation by saying, "Hey, I noticed that you seem off towards me today. Let's talk about it." That always put the person in the driver seat to continue to disrespect me. Once, I started letting that person be in that bad mood to regulate their own emotions, the tables turned and they started coming to me and asking me what was the matter. I simply told them the truth. . .that we are there to do a job and that I would like to keep it that way. I simply continued to work and let people be miserable if they so choose. I'm 100% happier that way.

I have a woman who lives across the street from me who doesn't like me. She lies on me to other people, stalks me, tracks me, and has video camera's all over my house. She has friends and family help her to do things to me.She even had a friend who threatened to run me over!! I don't care to be friends or what she thinks. I just want her to leave me alone. It's awkward if they are family. I just wish I knew why my sister in law dislikes me. I've examined my behavior and the things I've done and said over the years, but just can't figure it out. I encountered someone a long time ago who may have been pretending like he liked me. He approached me as if he wanted to date me. I guess he may have heard some gossip, and instead of forming his own judgement, he decided that he didn't like me. I guess he may have been heckled and he felt a need to prove to those people that he really didn't like me. I briefly saw him for maybe 1 1/2 years, then I left the area, so I hadn't seen him in many many years. Today, he still seems to continue to do things to me. I don't have any of his information: email, address, phone number but he seems to have all of my information. When you don't like someone, you don't have to spend 40 years telling them everyday. Your friends already know.

What If? This person/s are the head of your ministry at church, and you are pretty sure they have convinced most of the other members that you are a toxic and untrustworthy person. They all greet each other and laugh and talk and hang out in private groups outside of the main ministry amd they dont include me. They also will privately text each other asking for assistance, help, advice and roles and responsibilities and I am never mentioned or talked about. I have to run to find out information. Where they all share information freely with each other. Is it time to walk away?

See it as a balance : 0 in the middle, 50+ and 50- . The person that's not a bit convinced about you will be 40- and less, FAR AWAY from what you demand. Demand at least 30+. If someone does not like you or dont want to meet up with you they are definitly way down the balance. So go invite the NEXT. 😉 Ps. Its not a matter of good and bad but that you just do not resonate at that particular moment, and/or probably never. Dont waste your precious love energy.
