What to do when the sink stinks?

Is there a bad smell coming from the kitchen sink? In this video I will show you a simple and home-made way to unclog your pipes. Additionally, you will clean them and the bad smell will no longer come from them.
Why does the pipes in the kitchen stink?
Food remains and grease accumulate in the drain and stick to its walls. Plain water cannot rinse them off. Over time, they begin to deteriorate and an unpleasant odor comes from the pipes.

I don't think you can use vinegar on a black composite granite sink. The vinegar will be too acidic. Everything that I read said to use mineral oil on it, and that worked perfectly.

I have never seen an air vent in a kitchen sink. Maybe that's because I've always had two-sided kitchen sink, I guess the other side acts as the air vent.
