I like the venting system idea, could you give us an idea on what that looks like or how to have a healthy venting system? Thanks

To: My fellow listeners. This is not intended in anyway to be derogatory, but I hope can be received as "food for thought" to even further improve (tweak/fine tune) the quality of Mr. Michler's broadcasts. I've listened very intently to Mr. Michler over the course of about 3 dozen of his order of man podcasts because I found a great deal of value in what he had to say. In fact, much of his discourse has (as far as I am concerned) a good deal of value in terms of building a person (man or woman) of high moral character. But, speaking and writing as a mature man (64 yrs. old) I believe I have reached a "saturation point" in terms of Mr. Michler's ability to over- emphasize doing/achieving in an imbalanced way in his individual "discussions" at the cost of daily, weekly or monthly being and expressing satisfaction and gratitude to a God of your choice for advancements and opportunities to learn aka setbacks.

Confidence, and staying away from depression is closely tied to getting "wins" in your life. Personally I am all for his over emphasis of that. Have you ever considered that maybe you're not pushing yourself hard enough. Perhaps finding a way to stay content. Just a thought.

@@joec1212Actually, I have often been told that I was way too hard on myself. I was told repeatedly that I was "anal" by folks who barely knew me. More and more I think I am seeing contentment the same way Mr. Michler describes balance as a "moving target". I actually have found a significant amount of contentment in commenting on various manosphere YT channels. I have had quite a dysfunctional past(including a victim mentality and a defeatist mindset) so I had good reason to study Marriage Family and Child Counseling/Rearing. Some people build ships in bottles, some people do archery for sport or as a hobby. I chose to persist in my studies of MFCC. It really helped clarify human relational dynamics for me.

In listening to many of your podcasts I came away wondering when was the last time you talked about rites of passage or making transitions from one stage of male maturity to the next??? Please, please... Do talk about this soon alone or in tandem with a guest. But, I like to hear about this from a more mature male perspective. The only thing I've ever heard about this topic came from Gail Sheehy.
