I think that so much of the time we're 'in a hurry to get to where we're going' so to speak that we forget to enjoy the journey. This is no less true of our musical journey

I very suddenly became motivated when my keyboard would no longer power up. I needed to play some musical instrument. And my AXL Strat which had been sitting idle for many moons is now getting undivided attention. So are Mr Smooth's playlists 🎸 😎 🎼 🎶. I will eventually return to my Casio. Yet as of right now, my first love is my guitar

I started to play like 2 years ago and stop once I got to chord, playing what I heard, and finger dexterity!

I don’t ever want to not play, but the discouraging part is when I can’t get certain things i want to get. But I stop and think, hey I couldn’t do what I’m doing now a few months ago, so I’m growing. It just takes time. And I’m also realizing that you will always be learning on this thing. I mean your favorite player and a favorite player, So in and so forth. I don’t have a community just yet, but I’m meeting more people who want to help.. I know one thing though, my wife said I bet not buy another guitar! Haha ok babe. 😎🎸 I am looking for an affordable semi hollow body. An Ibanez

Kerry 2 Smooth, my biggest challenge right now is ear training being able to hear the difference between chords and keys when playing with others. Any advice??
