Thank you for making this video, it's informative. I wish I'd fought mine, I was in a very low point and had no hope (I'm very diligent about not exceeding speed limits, so the shock of receiving a ticket, when I make such a diligent effort to consistently drive accurately and safely, really brought me low) I so I just paid the fine. I later reviewed the area I was charged with speeding in, and the position of the speed-limit signs, and verified I was wrongfully ticketed. I still review the drivers handbook yearly and will continue to strive to be an excellent driver, but it stings that I didn't realize paying the fine was an admission of guilt and a relinquishing of the ability to remove the charge later. We live and learn.

Justin Holt says that a citation must not be over 90 mph “period” over the posted speed limit in order to qualify for alternative ways of disposition. Justin please clarify this part of your presentation because if one is cited for going over 90 miles over the posted speed limit and the posted speed limit is 75 then 75 + 90 = 165 mph

Yeah this isn’t a way out. Jury’s can sniff out someone who is just trying to get out of something they obviously did. The convicting rate of traffic juries in TX is 95%. And then maximums are imposed. But sure…try that 😂

I received a ticket from a cop who did not witness the citation he gave me. Apparently, another cop and him were trying to catch people running a red light. The cop pulled out in front of me, and I pulled over. I am in the woodlands, Texas. I did not run the red light! He said I did, and I asked him what qualified running a red light? He said if the light turned red while my car was halfway in the intersection. Btw according to law, here that is wrong! Not only that, but the first thing he said was that the other cop got my on canera. How do I get that footage for my case? Because there is zero doubt, I ran that light. No sooner than I pulled out, they were getting someone else, so I took a picture. This is not lawful! Both camera footage should be beneficial to my case. I just got the ticket today, so I am trying to figure out the best way to handle this. If I just wait and show up in court on the date of the ticket, I am afraid I do not have evidence over the officers. Do I need to request open records after I head to the court but before my date on the ticket? I really beed a starting point. Thanks for any guidance in advance!

I requested the body cam on the officer who pulled me over and on the one who supportedly got me on video. They wouldn't release it due to an open investigation. So if they want to keep on, I will request discovery at the pre trial. I actually didn't do it this time, and they have pushed this date twice. This has been a damn pain! If I did it, I would definitely take d.d. Can you do that?

Got a ticket in McKinney TX for not stopping for crosswalk guard for school. Lucky i had dash cam showing the lady came out after i crossed the stop sign. Show that to judge, dismissed my ticket and gave that pig warning. Get a dashcam. Will save money and headaches.

Whenever a police officer does a Traffic Stop, he's already in 2 violations to The Constitution! 1st Violation is The Traffic Stop. Traffic Stops are NOT crimes ! 2nd violation is asking for papers, ie driver's license ect. You have The Right to be secured in your person, property, assets and papers, unless you've committed a crime ! Traffic Stops are NOT crimes ! You don't go to jail or prison for Traffic Stops !

You don’t go to jail for violating traffic laws because most of them are misdemeanor c charges. Violating a traffic law is a crime and so they are allowed to ask for identification if they catch you committing that crime. “Traffic stops are not crimes”.. the traffic stop is conducted after the crime has been committed, it’s a procedure done by the officer, not a crime. But traffic tickets SUCK I don’t understand why they are so expensive and unaffordable to the general public, we pay enough state taxes as it is.

I got a ticket cuz police said I went 40 instead of 30 on a road 😅 are u fk kidding me? Is this a prank? Hahaha dude I honestly did not! I don’t recall doing that! I was not even taking the freeway!
