After my spouse filed for a divorce I acted like it was final and then was advised to buy her flowers and tell her I was sorry. She asked me to work on myself, which I did, but the more time passed, the worse things got. It was disheartening because I had changed for the better, but she changed for the worse. It is super painful and it feels like she’s choosing the worse path. It doesn’t make sense and I don’t know what to do. I keep praying and I am believing in a good outcome. Oh, I felt hopeless to levels I've never experienced. Heartbreak beyond anything I've ever felt. Honestly, this feels worse than my father dying. I have something kind of different but in away same. I want to know about couples who divorced because of the other woman. I was married for 30 yrs and for a year he was having an affair until I started finding out some strange things of course. He befriended a guy that worked with hims wife. I had told him to leave her alone if she needed some one to talk to... l will talk to her. Well after months of him helping her out she got a divorce. He was focused on her I became nothing. I tried everything! Our sons were devastated that he chose her. They were senior in high school and the other in college. He said he got his kids raised he was done. So I talked counsel ing he said no. The other woman was always saying come to me I’m worth it. How can you fight that 12 yrs younger and thought she was all that. She had kids still in grade school. Now an ex she had to deal with. I finally took a time out by myself and decided to divorce him. He couldn’t make a decision me or her so I did it for him. Been divorced for 9 years now he wants to talk and visit with me. I have always loved him. He says he feels sorry for me that’s why it took 30 yrs to leave lol. He is still with the other woman and she has tried to be friends with me but that’s not happening lol. What should I do. I have moved on to two relationships that didn’t work out. Now I am single he wants to talk a little more should I? How
