Hyacinths are beautiful and easily recognizable flowers characterized by their impressive blooms in a broad range of colors, including traditional purple and blue. Like many other flowers, the hyacinth grows from bulbs that are traditionally planted in the ground. Unlike other plants, however, the hyacinth thrives when exposed to cooler temperatures and insane amounts of moisture, allowing for the possibility of flowering in water.

Can I transplant the bulb in soil while it's blooming?

Yes you can kelly, but they were force bloomed so they will never bloom again. I kept mine a few months but it started to look a bit yellow (the leaves). I saved the vase and put thecroot ball and wilted leaves on a new rosebush I got 2 years ago

Shoot. Just got one after Christmas, half alive, cheap. When it stops blooming I'm just going to toss in my flower bed

That’s what I did! I tossed her directly into a deep container after the flower’s withered away. I then got 3 pups that grew off one of the mother plant’s and now I have 5 hyacinths!! I have 2 in soil and the other one is in Leca. Happy growing guys!
