About 252 yen to Tsukiji since we came from Higashi Nakano 40 minutes away. Train's the cheapest transpo, plus the yen's generally cheaper. We used our Suica cards from previous trips to pay. Helps to stay near the main JR Yamanote lines so youre nearer.

Sure. Motodane 本種. Cozy local sushi space a few streets from Tsukiji market. Not as expensive too. Enjoy!

hmmm ... I think seafood in Tokyo is second tier, it is all imported ... I think you may like Aomori and Hakodate seafood ... it is utterly fresh and yummy ... (but the way squid is prepared in Hakodate is very cruel to me I think) ... in Tokyo, to me, Kameido kuzumochi is the best ... but, the cooked rice at Oto-Oto izakaya in Shinjuku was so yummy, this is such a good restaurant ...
