Every time we visit Malaysia we have to pay our respects to our grandparents. Whilst most people visit Kek Lok Si, the largest Buddhist temple in Malaysia, for tourist reasons we visit for family homage.
There is such a calm and serenity about Kek Lok Si. Even when we would visit as kids, we loved this space. If you're exhausted and drained after the hustle and bustle of life or extended travel, then be sure to pay Kek Lok Si a visit.
I will show you a part of Kek Lok Si that almost NO ONE gets to see. This is such a special and rare insight into an actual working temple.
After visiting the temple, we head off for brunch. However, this is no ordinary brunch. It is singularly the BEST Lor Bak (deep fried rolled pork) you will ever have in your life.

Based in Melbourne, Australia, I watch too much TV, eat and drink too much to be a productive member of society. I have an insatiable craving to taste, smell and enjoy everything life has in store for me.
I have been bitten by the wanderlust bug and find nothing more thrilling than packing my bag and jumping on a plane to any far flung destination.
