Every time we visit Malaysia we have to pay our respects to our grandparents. Whilst most people visit Kek Lok Si, the largest Buddhist temple in Malaysia, for tourist reasons we visit for family homage.
There is such a calm and serenity about Kek Lok Si. Even when we would visit as kids, we loved this space. If you're exhausted and drained after the hustle and bustle of life or extended travel, then be sure to pay Kek Lok Si a visit.
I will show you a part of Kek Lok Si that almost NO ONE gets to see. This is such a special and rare insight into an actual working temple.
After visiting the temple, we head off for brunch. However, this is no ordinary brunch. It is singularly the BEST Lor Bak (deep fried rolled pork) you will ever have in your life.

Based in Melbourne, Australia, I watch too much TV, eat and drink too much to be a productive member of society. I have an insatiable craving to taste, smell and enjoy everything life has in store for me.
I have been bitten by the wanderlust bug and find nothing more thrilling than packing my bag and jumping on a plane to any far flung destination.
A huge thanks for watching. Please subscribe, like and comment. Let us know how we can improve so we can continue producing engaging content.

As always with your videos, I don't know what entrances me more, the cuisine or the scenery. Probably, to tell the truth, both equally! Thank you for the video. Have an amazing weekend!

Thank you so much! Your consistent and genuine support means the world to me. You've been around longer than almost everyone and for that I will always be thankful.

Gosh you and I share too many similarities with our food. That colourful steamed rice cake was like THE thing. Did you dip it in sugar? So good. That's the only way I'll ever eat wantan mee, dry kon lou. I'll never understand those who order the soup version. 🤣

Like we've always said, we're brothers from another mother. I never dipped the steamed rice cake in sugar. I loved eating it as it is. I will order the soup version if I'm in Hong Kong. OMG Hong Kong wanton mee is sublime.
