Hello Kathy ! Thank you for the tips ! My interview is in a few days and it will be online because of Covid. Therefore I think that in my case the campus tour and the assay will not be included in the interview. This being said, I was wondering if schools usually tell students in advance if their interviews are opened or closed (on the website for example) ? I have an interview at Midwestern Glendale (AZ). On their website, they don't say if the interview will be standard or more MMI type so I am kind stressed since I have to prepare for both type

It depends on the school, sometimes they will and sometimes they wont. I would prepare your interview as if it’s a closed interview where they know nothing at all about you, that way you can articulate both open or closed interview type of questions. I would prepare a mix of open ended questions and situational questions. I do offer additional coaching. I hope that helps, let me know if you have any questions. :)

@@andypham97 Hello Andrew ! How are you ? I sorry I completely forgot to update you guys on how my interview went ! So apparently it went well since I have been accepted to their Pharmacy program (my dream coming true honestly) but I thought it would go a bit better. Beforehand, I worked on common questions I was expecting and I kinda prepared detailed answers (not word for word but important subjects to adress for each question). I had everything in mind and I thought completely ready to tackle any questions adressed to me by the Jury. However, when actually face to them, I think I kind lost my step a bit because I ended up only giving half the answers I wanted and improvising a lot as I felt right during the interview that my prepared answers were not good enough in some ways. The questions I had were: "Talk to us a bit about yourself" "Talk to us about one moment you had to deal with a conflict" "What are the qualities required of a Health Practicioner (in general, not specifically to a pharmacist) ?" "What do you think you will bring to Pharmacy ?" "Why our school ?" I hope my experience can help you guys a bit ! Cheers,
