honestly...the tell me about yourself question always is a struggle for me. I always aim to focus on what school im coming from, why i want to become a pharmacist, and what my goals are for the future as a pharmacist...but i wonder if thats even enough to talk about...

I recommend try finding volunteer opportunities in the pharmacy or try to work in a pharmacy as a cashier or technician.

Hello! Since you are a pharmacist in another country, I think transitioning to a pharmacy technician in the USA will be easy for you since you know most of the drug names already. You can apply to a variety of places after you get your pharmacy tech license such as CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Costco, independent pharmacies, hospital pharmacies, the list goes on.

Also, you may want to check out international pharmacy track programs, it's for pharmacist's who have degrees in another country besides the US and want to be a pharmacist in the US. I'm going in tomorrow. So nervous. It's really really HARD to find a pharm tech job where i am from. Everyone wants someone with experience! I also find it really weird that CVS instantly rejected my resume, but I was given an instant interview tomorrow at a clinical pharmacy (was called after 10 minutes in to show up tomorrow after submitting my app) and this is coming from someone that's a pre-pharm student with no pharmacy experience. I mean the pay is better, but I don't really care so long as I get my foot in the door. Funny thing is I want to aim for retail pharmacy as a pharmacist, not so much clinical or hospital even...
