This April 8th, a total solar eclipse will captivate parts of North America, particularly Ontario and Quebec, with other regions observing a partial eclipse. I experienced a partial equip clips twice in my life, once in 1983 in Toronto, Canada, and again in 2017 in North River Newfoundland, it is a town about 1 Hour Dr. from St. John’s Newfoundland. 1983 I created a pinhole camera, but didn’t have much success with that. And in 2017 I use binoculars, not to watch the solar eclipse, but to watch the shadow that it created on the sun. I held my binoculars up to the sun and pointed the other end at the white part on my garage. I was able to watch the shadow cross part of the sun, oh my garage. I also took pictures of this and it was amazing. I only wish that that was a total eclipse that day. The total eclipse will occur, and now Falls, Ontario, too bad I don’t live that close to Niagara Falls now.

Only along the path of totality and really just the air travel to reach the path of totality. I doubt that car traffic would be affected other than the automatic headlights switching on as there would be plenty of time to find a place to stop to take a look. From beginning to end, the eclipse will take about two hours, sure totality would be momentary but there's plenty of dimming light to prompt you to find a place to park if you have the means to avoid burning out your retina, otherwise just snap on your headlights and keep going.
