He lived a long 4.5 years and recently had begun to suffer from a lot of ailments that effected his quality of life. I considered cutting him from this video, but I’d rather show some of his last moments on my channel than hide them. ❤️

I just got my hedgehog today (her name is Gilly) and she is so friendly! She is a little nervous, but that’s what I expected. I woke up in the night to the sound of her eating her food, so I was super proud of her for that. And, before we went to get her, I put one of my shirts I wore that day, folded it up and put it in her cage so she can get use to my sent. My cats seem curious about her, but haven’t been brave enough to at least get a foot close to her cage. Over all, Gilly is the sweetest little girl, and I hope some day, she will trust me. (Edit) Rn, it’s like, 5:00 am, and I saw her run on her wheel for the first time! AHHH I’m so proud of my baby! I’ve let her sniff me a couple times, I say her name in my voice, so she gets used to me. She is just, AHH she’s so sweet!!

1. Im so sorry for your loss. Its never easy losing a pet. 2. Me and my roommates recently adopted a hedgie from a girl. She didnt have time to care for him so she sold it to use. I dont know how interactive she was with him but he's very shy. Your vids along with others (and other online sources) have been very helpful. Thank you! We're working with him every day for a short amount of time.

I got a hedgehog three weeks ago and she is such a great companion and I love her to the moon and back! She’s a happy,healthy hedgehog! And I did tons of research on hedgehogs before getting her (I would read books watch your videos and do research online.) and I did all this research cause I wanted to make sure she had a happy long life and I just wanted to say thank you because your videos helped me out! Hi! I’m so sorry for the hedgehog loss and I know it’s been like four years but thank you so much for this! I got my hedgie, Remy, 2 days ago! He's doing great and I was so surprised to see him eating in the first night. He's super friendly and always snores when he's sleeping on my lap which is the cutest. He's sneezing a little but is very energetic so I think he's just getting used to the new smells. I'm so proud of him for being so quick to get used to his new home :)

I watched this video a little over a year ago when I was thinking about getting a hedgehog. At first I was debating a tenrec but I realized hedgehogs are more me and a Tenrec is more something that would be cool to have but I would never get. Your channel was one of the most channels I watched for information (also websites, facebook pages etc.) Later that month after watching this video, I got my first hedgehog Piper!! She is now 1 and 5 months. I got her at 2 months. Then this year a day before my birthday, I got another hedgehog. Her name is Penny and I got her at 1 and 2 months. She is now 1 and 4 months. I was doing great (no health concerns at all) and I decided to adopt another hedgehog from a not so great home in my area. His name is Willie in honor of my childhood horse that passed away. I'm doing great with them, no health concerns and They all are eating pooping drinking interacting with me great. They all eat high quality cat food, live insects and bonding times are about 30 minutes a day each two times a day!! Now I am getting my last hedgehog for a long time until the day comes and they pass away. Which is going to be a long time hopefully. Anyway, I am getting my 4th hedgehog which is going to be named Hope or Prissy. She is born on my birthday!!🙂 All thanks to watching your videos!!

I just got a hedgehog on July 2. I was up the night before watching your videos! You are so helpful. I, of course, got a grouchy hedgehog but I love him and hold him every night. He hisses and pops at me but I have learned that he likes to be rocked. It calms him down enough for him to relax his quills a little bit. Thank you so much for all the info!! So glad I watched this. I just got my little buddy Bartimaeus about one month ago now. And I can definitely say he went through the "Honeymoon" kind of thing. Luckily the breeder was super good and answered all my questions. Although I have one quick question about nail cutting. I watched ur nail cutting video and I've tried all the things and tried holding him different ways. But he just hates it. A week ago I tried cutting his nails for the second time and he just puffed up and was super stressed and so I just had to let him be even tho his nails were really bad since then I have gotten to cut one paw a day, but any tips for how I could make it a better experiance for him?
