Excellent video I love ❤️ the loctician advice. I wish I would have heard this information before my installation. 10.5 mos Sisterloc’d. I stopped spraying my hair with water twice a week. But I do wash my locs once every three wks. My scalp itches very bad and is only relieved with washing. 18 wks wait until 1st wash oh no. My Reties are once every 5-6 wks I’m supposed to only wash before my Retie. I’m waiting to touch up color after 1.5 yrs loc’d. Patience is golden lol.

The best thing for itch is a few drops of 100% Tea tree oil directly on the scalp and lightly scratch it in with your nails "lightly". Believe me the itch will go and stay away for at least 4 weeks. But I must warn you, tea tree oil has a very strong smell. I love it I've been using it for years. Make sure you get 100% tea tree oil

I found a consultant who quoted me $1200 for 4 inches. I have my install scheduled for next week. A few things your consultant said are making me want to change my mind. Firstly, my consultant said she can finish in one day, secondly she wants to do it with her “mentee” who she is training and thirdly she said she makes them the locks two different sizes, 50/50. Do those sound like red flags? If I’m going to pay so much I want to have the best. She has sister-locks as long as your loctician so that kinda made me feel safer as she probably has the experience. Thoughts? Thank you♥️

@ndina Nehemia This response is from Juila(Loctician) Those are all red flags every single last bit run for the hills Ryan girl run here's the deal sister, Locke should never be installed in 1 day 1 day don't trust it I know you only have 4" of hair but you want a consultant to take their time and part your hair according to the standards a certain number vertical assert number horizontal lining up with your Bridget your nose and your eyes then she wants her Minty to do it we don't call them minties we call them trainees on top of that too if a trainee is working on your head it should be discounted because the trainee does not have as much experience did she sell it to you as a package deal it's supposed to be a package deal. iIs locking session follow up visit within 5 to 6 weeks and starter kit if she did not sell it to you as a package deal she is not the one including your 2 to 3 days You should go a step further and check the directory to see if she is on the sister lock website if she's not on the website you should call the Home Office and confirm that she even took the class. @The Vent I did! I ended up going with her just because I couldn’t find another loctician who seem reputable. She completed mine in a day like I said before, took about 9hrs. I’m on my third month and actually love love them lol.

I have a question. Your loctitian said if a consultant said they can so your hair in one day run! Does it take two days doe short hair or can it be done in one day depending on the length?

@Alicia shine per Julia (Loctician) response: Sisterlocks is very a intricate process there are a certain number vertical certain number horizontal the lots have to lineup to the bridge of your nose your eyes and the back has to connect to the front even if your hair is the minimum of 34" it would still take all day to install if you were to do it in one day anything over 4" done in 1 day I would not recommend your night you're not guaranteed That person took their time parted carefully and make sure to maintain the integrity of sisterlocks I hope this helps!!!💖
